everyone apparently hated the ending so i dont know if i should bother with this show? i understand a show is alot more than just an ending, but im in a mood for a good ending show right now so?
the original version drama was slow and all but it somehow left a nostalgic feel that made the overall drama memorable and worth it. this korean adaption however fails to be anything of that sort and comes off as dry. however, ONLY if you go in comparing it with the original.
go in with an open mind, expecting a web drama feel, a cute cheesy fluff and you will enjoy it. its adorably innocent and good enough for a light watch!
truly one of the best dramas of 2020! it was an honor to watch this fine story with brilliant actors. thankyou to everyone who came together to make this wonderful drama. 10/10

i absolutely agree. but the reason i want to wait and see is because the plot of this is really not my my usual style but i might give it a shot if its something considered spectacular, which ofcourse would still not determine whether i like it or not. till then ill pick up a show which has a plot that i usually am familiar with or interested in. :)
such a wholesome drama! the acting was amazing, the story was adorable, the genre blend was brilliantly done too. i think the climax was not as dramatic as the hype throughout the show but thats only if you think of it as a show that travels up to the climax and comes down. i think thinking of it that way was a mistake. the best way to enjoy this show is to take it as a consistent watch. its so brilliantly done. a real cute, fulfilling show. one of the best ive seen in 2020 so far.

this is exactly how i feel. i think because of the initial episodes, the promotions and the initial hype, this show attracted a certain genre loving fans which were left dissapointed when the drama didnt turn the way they expected.
other than that like you mentioned, this drama has such amazing lessons, sheds light on such important topics and i love how inclusive it felt of all characters. it was beautiful and i thoroughly enjoyed it. granted it could have been better, but it was most definitely anything but a weak drama or a bad one. it was really good!!!!
this drama taught me never to trust reviews again. while this wasnt as perfect as id like it to be, it somehow made me rate it a 9.5/10. its beautiful. it sticks, and i dont know why people felt so disappointed. this drama sticks with you. its so wholesome! what a ride!

this season was fantastic. super thrilling and i loved the ending omg. cant wait for season 3. also omg the new entries in the cast are making me so excited!!! can this show go on for 10 seasons lmao and can they not make us wait a whole year tho :( :P
just finished season 1 and i cant believe they made people wait for the biggest climax in the show yet for a whole year! now i can move on to season 2 and watch it but by the end of that season, im afraid its gonna be a cliffhanger ending like the first season for which ill have to wait a whole year again and thats just SAD!
the only reason i stopped watching american dramas was because of the whole seasons format. to think kdramas have started doing that too makes me so sad.
