It's kinda why Hill was against Johan pursuing North even though he knew Jo has liked him for so long - perceived fuckboi-ness lol. Both Johan and Arthit have had multiple short term flings and one-night stands. Unlike Johan, who at least shows responsibility with his business, Arthit has never really shown he can be serious with anything or anyone. North wouldn't be wrong in thinking he won't be serious with Dao either.
Once he realizes Arthit truly likes Dao, he's very supportive.

I don't remember much of the FahPhoon novel so idk if he was better explored on the page, but I feel like there was so much potential there. Bever called Typhoon a safe zone for Fah, but I didn't really see that in the show. It looked to me like he was still putting on a brave face for him.

They can't really add everything from the novel, esp given how long it is (1000+ pages) and just 8 episodes. There's no uncut scene with the spirits or anything, but Arthit is just a little extra careful with Dao and gets worried when he gets sick right from the beginning.
One change from the novel I loved is having Arthit break down in front of Dao. In the book, he doesn't cry the same way, he listens to Dao relatively calmly and then calls Direk and cries on the phone with him. He then passes out and when he wakes up, he feels a lot lighter.
I loved that he was more open with his feelings to Dao here and that Dao actively comforted him. Adds a layer of depth, especially given that Dao does cry in front of Arthit later on but Arthit never does.
Ngern did a great job!! I could really feel his emotional and how badly he was grieving still. my only complaint…
He's not really Kram's friend, I just saw it as him allowing Kram to vent since he didn't like Dao romantically at that point (or even much as a friend, the California trip changed everything for him, he acknowledges that he didn't think about Dao much before that).

TonfahTyphoon were nice, but I wish Tonfah had more depth as a character and his insecurities and personality were developed a bit more. He seemed a bit too perfect.
This arc is hitting all the right spots - two well-developed characters, a love story where neither of them somehow knew the other when they were kids or whatever, and great acting (but that's now a staple across the Fourever You cast).
