I enjoyed the drama, but will I rewatch it? No. The reunion between the leads was lacklustre. I never really felt…
1) you should’ve known it … xianxia in the past have much longer durations (50 eps onward) they had plenty of times to do a lot of scenes… xianxia nowadays have many contents but only limited screen time (duration max 40 episodes only) .. we should be grateful it’s not ended like the other xianxia dramas this year where they didn’t even show the leads in the end😂
2) i agree with the CGI but not all CGI bad.. only some parts… other parts are well made, well.. i am not happy with tencent’s decision making to rush post production in 7 months…. Other xianxia dramas have atleast 1 year or 2 years of post production time. So yeah, lack of CGI is truly their faults for rushing this drama
3) innocent love? That’s their purpose since both leads are still teenagers immortals in this drama

To me the saddest character was Hong Yi’s aunt. They all did her dirty!
She has internal core which will reincarnate again dear maybe in h thousands years later… but not with lanfeng… he will not get to reincarnate again if you watch ep.39
