I don’t think shang jue cares more power than responsibility, the elders were abit biased too.. changing the rules for zi yu, and they disagreed when shangjue proposed to change the rules… logically speaking, if you were him, do you want a weaker and more stupid unqualified leader than yourself?

And he suspected shangjue instead… i know he’s not smart but this time he’s a bit dumb😒😒
