Watched the first 3 episodes. I think it is visually quite stunning I simply love the all the old Beijing scenes…

The extra episode is starting with the scene from 5 years later (after the last episode of 30th)... Anran has gone away for 5 years to heal herself and to check out 36 ports. She and the current Crown prince Mu Chuan didn't contact for each other.. but they always asked each other's news via Dong qing and her brother. And everytime MC went to Su city to look for her, she would avoid him (because her heart was not ready yet). Meanwhile, the king and queen kept arranging future wives to Mu chuan but he kept rejecting their offer and he even planned to threaten his king dad to give up his crown prince position if his dad arranges a wedding for him.. and luckilly this scene was seen by An Ran. During Dong Qing's Brother Sheng's wedding preparation, the brother and sister arranged something to trick An Ran and Mu Chuan to get together (by kidnapping both of them and put them into the same room). An Ran said: she has healed herself, finally can move on from the past, she's ready to stay with mu chuan.
