i understand he was traumatized as a child and its not fair to him and the grandma is still evil no doubt but…
at least it was a happy endig, and he got a fair share of slaps xD but I don't think he apologized at least i don't remember an effective one, and Chae ni got over his betrayal wayyy too quickly bless her heart
i understand he was traumatized as a child and its not fair to him and the grandma is still evil no doubt but Chae-ni did nothing wrong. she shouldn't be the one suffering like that. even if he does save her now it won't change the fact how easily he just sold her out. and he already believed she was killed and he never took a step to prevent it. wdym i literally drug u and send u off to the ppl i know will torture and kill u but here is a coffee jelly so u can do a little peak a boo and have some fake hope....
that first episode was truly a mess... and dman... really bad special effects and editing... i really want to like this but it didnt have a strong start :((
so why exactly did Changyu's father kill himself if he was actually loyal? who was he to the general? and is he…
She literally read the letter and crossed out his name suddenly saying so he's my father. But the only convo she had was when she killed the guy where he was like only these ppl know this move. The only thing got answered by the end of 30 is that he's just Xie Zhsngs uncle's general and not related to XZ. And I guess he's just the general He's friend. I'm on 32 now but still everything seems too "oh just accept it and don't ask too many questions"
the writing fell apart for me in the second half but like the first 10/15 eps of the story and acting were IMMACULATE.…
so true. It started a 10 out of 10 for me and then dropped significantly. I still enjoy watching it but I'm really getting annoyed by the whole Mary Sue aspect of CY like her struggles don't really seem tht big because well others face the consequences of her actions instead of her and of course she can never be defeated. heavy plot armor for the main characters makes it worse. and this whole dragging romance between the leads is very annoying too. I do like the leads together tho if only the writing remained as strong as the first couple of eps...
so im on episode 30 rn and I'm a bit confused. if anyone can help out: spoilers ahead
so why exactly did Changyu's father kill himself if he was actually loyal? who was he to the general? and is he connected to Xie Zhang somehow because isn't Wei yan XZ's uncle? also how did Changyu figure out Wei Qilin is her father before the general told her?
oooh actually this is very interesting. Realistic and mature. I don't like any of the actors here but the story sounds interesting and something that happens quite often in real life
I really like the serious character Bai Lu plays here, but from that first episode... this is very badly edited and things just skip and conveniently happen...
But I think there is a lot left, like really a lot, as its based on the novel!
I know!!! Like based on just the outro so much seems to be happening im just not sure how they're going to fit all of that in seamlessly and without it being rushed. I guess its the writing momentum problem of the show :/
