A season 2 is needed but question is will they?
I definitely enjoyed the drama because I finished it in one sitting without moving to do anything in between and that speaks for itself.
The plot is not too mind boggling but at the same time came as a surprise. The ending made me wish for a season 2 more than anything. The main theme of the plot is about introspection, human desire, forgiving oneself and facing their own fears. Did they successfully capture this essence throughout the drama? Maybe till 80% but that is good enough. It was definitely enjoyable and I loved how the entire series is not just them playing games to escape and figuring things out. They had a time, came back to the same place again. The characters were definitely great. I wish Don, Mark, Benz were explored as a character as much as they focused on Samut, Aom, Kaen, Mamay. I think they also needed to have their own redemption arcs. I liked how they kept me hooked throughout because every episode ends at a cliffhanger.
The direction was god. They wrapped things up pretty well without prolonging the scenes. It was compact and enjoyable. The sets for the games were amazing. I loved the editing, it was smooth and looked realistic on screen. The cast behind the show definitely did a great job to make this enjoyable.
The acting was definitely good. Prim and Gemini are experienced actors and they delivered. This was my first drama with Mewnich and I am surprised to see she is also an industry senior. Aungpao did great portraying his character. I wish Prom and Poon had more scenes, I just love bad boy Poon. Teeshow for a newbie did well, he has great expressions.
Overall this was definitely an enjoyable watch. I wish they had explored the story of the dice more. I am hoping for a season 2 after the ending they gave.
