I think he may be just trying to move on and forget about everything. Besides, even if he doesn’t press charges, that guy will still be in prison because the cops found him with the knife and injured so however, long he will still be in prison. It is true you can hold the grudge and choose to forgive or not forgive but XW is the type that he doesn’t hold grudges because he doesn’t want that to hold him back. He’s already been held back for two years and now he’s realizing that he needs to move forward. As someone who has personally dealt with people like that not criminally but people who use you and abuse you and then think they can just get away with it. I guess you could say I held a grudge for many years and different people and then I realized that it was stealing a part of my soul which I was unwilling to give up so for my own sake, I forgave them and moved on, but I never contacted any of those people again I think he’s doing the same thing.

Well, if he beat them up, then he would also be in jail so that wouldn’t make any sense. He was always like that. He always had a soft interior and a hard exterior because of the cards dealt to him. I think that the cops are definitely dropping the ball and that’s the writing but as for everything else he had a lot to deal with he had a sick grandmother and the business and the debts and everything else he just didn’t have time for grudges. That’s just not who he is and we’ve seen that throughout. What I do think is that he needs to get the hell out of that town and go to university which I’m guessing is going to start happening once her father returns and takes her back and even though he wants her to stay, he knows she deserves to be free, but she also kind of sort of gives him an ultimatum of catch-up to me and I want you to get into a university like we talked about which he promises to do and does and obviously they reunite five years later. But even though he couldn’t be an Air Force pilot, he still somehow manages a different dream with what he originally started with. I think that, however their adult years will only be something like four or five episodes.
