I remember number 3 of your point. SGD seemed to be jealous of LXY from nearly the beginning of their time with their Shifu and wife. While LXY didn’t seem to realize it, SGD started hating him with a passion. So it would only make sense that he’d do whatever it took to get ahead in life, killing even a small child. Really shows how much of a bastard he was/is. And how heartbreaking it is to LLH finding all of this out now.

Actually if you look at it, both LXY and DFS have mysterious backgrounds. Your explanation does make sense; I mean SGD figured he was the chosen one without solid evidence. LXY actually had a prominent family that was massacred. Hopefully we’ll get some answers in the final 8 episodes.
