Same; like most places dispatch firefighters and EMT’s to the scene at the same time and in large cities they are stationed in the same firehouse. They’re very integrated at all times. So to have a modern drama where firefighters can’t bandage or know CPR, the very basics of first aid is very strange to me. And that you have to call a separate service is just weird. If there’s a fire, the fire department can’t be the ones responsible for keeping the crowd at bay either, that’s the police’s job. It’s like here either the firefighters have to do jobs out of their realm or they can’t do something ornately basic.
