No, they go to different universities, but her father comes to take her back to Beijing and then he thinks she’s going to study abroad, but she decides to remain and he I think repeats a great or something and gets into a different university than her that specializes in what he is interested in which is like flight engineering or something of that nature. They’re both grown-up when they reconnect back in the little town five years after the fact so they’ve had time to obviously finished their respective universities, get jobs do whatever; they’re both successful and are now able to appreciate life more as adults.

I finished 12 so I’m a bit ahead but they are gonna go to high school together and then her dad shows up and I think that’s how it goes. I think there’s something like a five-year break as they go to university get jobs whatever and then reunite in that small town somehow. But they also have their adult life together that I hope we see more than one episode of at the end.

All the wheels are unnecessary but if it gets him a step closer to returning than I’m fine with it.
