Moonlight and intense love are modern dramas. And the romance of tiger and the rose is partly modern.

That's her actual voice. She just pitches it a bit higher for historical/fantasy dramas. You can see the difference if you watch Moonlight.

Because they tend to use that tone in fantasy/historical settings. And it's only one step higher then her normal speaking voice
