I've been thinking a lot about Trin and Tanwa's fight. I've heard some people are blaming one or the other of…
I agree with everything you said. Trin's actions were understandable, but never justified. And while I hope there is a happy ending, Trin and Tanwa should TALK things out before the get into extremes.
Honestly I'm a bit sad at the way people always dismiss the physical violence Tanwa receives in this series. Is…
Same! I never justify violence but at that point Trin wasn't in his right mind, plus he is reliving his trauma of losing Victor the same way he lost Claire, and entered a vicious cycle of blaming the wrong person. With that being said, I completely agree with you at the last line. Before they do anything stupid (specifically Trin), I hope they AT LEAST talk things out.
On top of that, TRIN SHOULD FUCKING APOLOGISE AFTER HE GETS INTO HIS RIGHT MIND
I read on the comments that in Thai culture, the feet is the dirtiest object while the head and face are sacred body parts. Hence Dao slapped Naran with her heel so as to show how humiliating it was for Naran to cheat and also to be queer at a time where queerness was seen as a disease
I feel sorry for both of them. At that time it was only logical for Trin to punch Tanwa for Victor's death as…
I second with everything and yes even if it sounds like an excuse TRIN FUCKING DESERVES TO KNOW! Because yes I get his state of mind but if he cools down he should apologise because frankly Tanwa wasn't responsible for Victor's death. If anything, Pracha is the root cause for that! And the people in power. Poor kid had a bright future ahead and his last words to Trin was "Was my speech good?" Or something. Then he got killed 😢 man I want to give everyone a hug!
And also veera didn't deserve to die like that! Never confessed to Dhevi and he was still so loyal! Even after finding out Let's affair and getting threatened. Shit someone should unalive Pracha at this point because he deserves absolute hell!
And yes Tanwa was selfish like you say it but it was only natural for him. And yes we are selfish because we need that to survive as well. And still he tried to warn Victor and protect Trin at the same time. It's already a difficult thing.
And also as long as it was never justified to put the blame on Tanwa and literally PUNCH him, Trin was again reliving his trauma of losing Claire. Victor was a lot like Claire and it became a vicious cycle for him.
And I still wanna believe they'll make up but even if they don't, AT LEAST THEY SHOULD TALK IT OUT!
After telling Trin about the protest, Tanwa must've been trembling with fear of losing Trin. You can see that…
I feel sorry for both of them. At that time it was only logical for Trin to punch Tanwa for Victor's death as he only got to know about the protest through Tanwa, albeit too late. And as far as how "selfish" Tanwa was, we need to keep in mind that he lost his mother at a very young age and hence he has fear of abandonment and didn't want to lose Trin. He was being protective but that ultimately backfired.
Shine Twt were theorising that it was Tanwa who got Trins friend to comfort him as he couldn't at that point. I'm sure it'll be true but I just hope Tanwa and Trin talk things out before taking any drastic actions
I’m really trying not to blame the victim here, but Trin really shouldn’t be touching or hugging Victor after…
I don't entirely agree as Trin kept it clear that he has no romantic feelings for Victor, and there he was just being very protective of him. He still sees him as a mentee and a younger brother. It's on Victor, and more so on the writing as Hito said. They could've written Victor in a much better way at that episode.
It's okay if you ship VictorTrin , but calling Tanwa's character " uSEless " is definitely a hater behavior…
I agree! I can't understand how can they call Tanwa a "useless" character when he was a soothing presence to Trin and Trin is the one to ground him to reality! I already commented on that if you read it but if it wasn't for Tanwa, Trin would've already spiralled out. He was the one who LISTENED to him when Trin talked to him about his PTSD, and the one who soothed him when Trin broke down in his arms. Someone already pointed out that Trin is very particular about cleanliness, but after skinny-dipping with Tanwa his cloths were sandy, but he wasn't so stressed about it. Imagine refusing to touch YOUR OWN HANKER CHIEF because it touched the floor. He's the same guy who was okay with wearing sandy cloths after skinny-dipping.
And honestly as much as Tanwa was a soothing presence to Trin, Trin isn't the one to depend on him for emotional support. Tanwa admitted that he didn't want to let his misery affect him, but Trin responded saying that if it was him he is ready to shoulder his burdens. Basically saying "we are in this together" in other words, if we count both ep 5 and 6. Heck even before ep 5 Tanwa was always there for him. He's the only one to make him smile, and he shared his trauma of losing his mother to Trin.
If they still think Tanwa is useless even after going this far onto a show, then that means they don't understand or empathise with him yet. And yeah someone actually had the galls to say that Tanwa shouldn't have existed in this show and said that they stand uncorrected. They were called out for hater behaviour but lol one of them who finds Tanwa 'useless' called them fanatics as to them, that commentator didn't name names and still they were "attacked", and that commentator even said that they didn't hate anyone like can they even hear themselves?! They can't see that the cast and crew are a team and they are all so supportive of each other and are very close. Insulting one actor or character or a cp just because you don't like them means insulting the team!
