He even ate spoiled food on set and didn’t whine. When he’d get cyberbullied he didn’t say anything! There is also a Hello Saturday episode where people made fun of him a lot and though he did respond back, it was all in playful banter. And he remained close with his costars. Literally Bai Lu and Tian Xiwei are like buddies with him! And Chen Yuqi (who was his FL in Unchained Love) said nothing but nice things about him, saying she didn’t expect him to be such a funny person irl. Even the Wander Together team came in his defence.

Now that he just expresses his discomfort, without naming names and demanding for an apology, he gets attacked. And there was a lot of victim-blaming and they even dragged his parents and spreading misinformation about him to make him look bad.

And he didn’t even name anyone, he JUST SAID THAT HE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE! And he didn’t demand an apology at all! It was Shen Yue who apologized. And the fans should take responsibility for how they behave. If he’s sooooooo sinister to just write a post of 28 characters, then so is Shen Yue for writing a loooooong apology that caused a barricade of hate messages against him, taking clips and videos way out of context, to even ridiculing his educational qualifications to his family and then rumours about him having a child and secretly married, and even dragging celebs that have no relation to this drama. This is what happens if you even express your discomfort against bullying, while deflecting accountability on those who ganged up against him.

I don’t condone hate messages against her or WHD, but WHD is not a stranger to getting cyberbullied, and unfortunately, they have all the time to dig up clips of his variety shows, cut them to take things out of context, and paint him as the villain, WHEN ALL HE SAID WAS THAT HE IS UNCOMFORTABLE.

And the rest five of the cast members and the production team are the actual manchildren here who didn’t even think I that what they did was not right. Heck they even went high-school clique on him, singling him out. It hurts a lot more since he thought they were his friends and he chose them.

Thank you! Really, we need to have WHD, SY, and WZL handle those things on their own along with their agencies. We don't know what happened behind the scenes, and in editing context can be lost. Only the people involved know exactly what happened.

As a WHD fan, personally I find it sus that suddenly there is a barrage of people piling on him, with clips taken out of context, painting Shen Yue as the sole victim even though she posted that apology before anyone could even bully her, and just insulting his character in general, calling him a manchild or a bully when I see more accounts from people who know him personally doing nothing but praising him, saying that he's very considerate of people's feelings and even if an extra falls, he'd go to check on them. He even had spoiled food while shooting for GOTD without complaining. This must have hurt him to express his feelings in public for the first time.

And I don't have anything against the other five, but they definitely should've known better than to jump into the hive mentality of mocking Didi when he praised all five of them in the awards show without even reflecting or considering if this is the right thing to do. I agree with everything. These people are going to jump in to express their hatred. This isn't the first time WHD is facing this unfortunately.

It is difficult managing an inn, and he did it! Even gave Wu Zelin (who came up with that shitty idea and also needs to be called out) a hug when he was stressed in the kitchen and handled a lot of things and suggested Qin Lan take a rest if she was too tired. There's nothing wrong with WHD expressing his discomfort. We can't enable bullying people. These 5 grown-ass people were acting like mean high school kids, like we see in pop culture. And it's surprising that no one called the rest out. Shen Yue posted an apology while the rest kept quiet. This is clearly singling him out and thinking it's funny or okay.
This happened publicly, so WHD said this publicly. And also the other 5 were acting immature as well. Hold them up to that standard as you hold WHD.
