Hmmm...the chemistry between the two male leads is undeniably strong. Unlike the first reply you got, I would…
Yes...of COURSE I know that lol. I honestly don't see the two MLs as "totally gay" or anything. They just have very strong chemistry, something I'd consider like bromance, and it can totally be seen as purely platonic or people could see it having a subtle underlying queer element. And no, I'm not forcing anyone to see it my way, that's why I said people could read it differently and if they watch it, they can decide for themselves. I was just stating my opinion. But I'm not the only one who's picking up on things in this show...A lot of people have π But it's fine if you don't π€·πΌββοΈ I don't necessarily ship the two MLs together (it would be kind of weird anyway, given certain plot points in the show). But anyway, we all can have our different opinions π€·πΌββοΈ
The bromance between Junhyeok and Hosu is so good! I re-watched this drama a year ago and it re-kindled my love for Asian dramas. It's not perfect, but a super solid show that left quite an impression on me back in 2017. And it was one of the first shows that made me realize I liked bromance π Junhyeok and Hosu have such a palpable chemistry together - it made me want to ship them, haha. The sweet, very subtle romance between Jeong Yeon and Ujin is very cute to watch. And of course the heart of the story is the deep sibling bond between the two brothers - it's very touching. Every actor did such a great job in their roles.
I need them to hug instead and I'd be fineπ€βΉοΈπ₯²
Ugh, yes π We basically just got a measly two episodes with them being a fun duo together π I think it should've been half of the show (or more) with them case solving, and then the let the rest of the plot unfold after that instead of having them separated for like 90% of the time π
I don't really watch much BL at all, mostly bromance and non-romance, but they were having a hard time convincing…
I could be wrong about Tee, that's just something I thought I read somewhere a few months ago. And my point is, I often prefer close, non-romantic or non sexual relationships in shows. Just a preference, and shows with bromance in them give me that π€·πΌββοΈ *sigh* and calling all bromances queerbating is a stretch. I disagree with you, but we all have a right to our opinions. And like I said, if you don't like bromance then don't waste your time watching a show like Mr. Kill if the "queerbating" bothers you so much...No one is forcing you to watch it.

You don't have to watch the show if the so-called "queerbating" is bugging you then π€·πΌββοΈπ I don't like NC scenes in shows and romance is hit and miss for me. I prefer deep soulmate type friendships or ambiguous relationships that don't need a sexual aspect to make it compelling. They announced from the get-go that this show wasn't going to be BL, just a bromance, like SkyNani's projects. Tee wasn't comfortable doing BL, I believe, so they settled with this π€·πΌββοΈ
Awww, Shang really cares about Hong! The way he stepped in front of Hong to protect him, ready to take that knife for him π₯Ήπ Episodes 11 and 12 were both great and it was hilarious to see an obviously jealous Shang π€£
Dubbed. Her original voice can be heard here (example from the 11th Wenrong Awards on 1 November 2025): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wXuAv_kZWY
Okay, thanks πππΌ Her voice definitely sounds different than the dub π³ I like her real voice though! Too bad they didn't use her or Neo's real voices in the show π But I know why they do it, either time constraints with the actors, or just because the actors don't naturally have the correct accent/pronunciation.
DewTee's chemistry is insane. You can't convince me this is Bromance π€Like, what do you mean it's only the…
I don't really watch much BL at all, mostly bromance and non-romance, but they were having a hard time convincing me too ππ Like damn, tone it down boys π€£ In all seriousness, I loved every bit of it, and their chemistry gave me butterflies haha.
Hmmm...the chemistry between the two male leads is undeniably strong. Unlike the first reply you got, I would say there is some queer subtext sprinkled in here and there. Just do a quick Google search of the official promotional photos of the show, and you'll see what I mean! π The creators weren't blind haha. People can read it differently of course, but I saw it as queer. But some scenes were shot in a way that definitely had underlying subtext and no one could convince me otherwise. There's a reason why people have made so many edits of the two MLs. They have a complex, love-hate relationship. Anyway I loved the show regardless. Go ahead and watch it for yourself!
