No. Not a BL novel. This is a Mainland China show, so that wouldn't be allowed anyway. Original script I believe…
Yes, they used to, but the ban was put into effect in 2021, I believe. Word of Honor was the last censored adaptation to fully air before the ban. That's why so many censored adaptations had to be shelved, like Immortality, Winner is King, Eternal Faith, ect. A lot of them had already finished filming too π
Li Si is kind of an 'outcast' character burdened with his family affairs as well as his personal vendettas. Personality…
Well, that'll be refreshing to see Yunxi play a character who's more like that π After watching him play cunning or serious types in Till the End of the Moon and Whispers of Fate.
Oh, I get it π I don't watch much BL - bromance is my preference - but I could see that being the case. That's unfortunate though. It's unfortunate for any genre to get that way. So many production companies seem to just care about the money π°π° π
What is with the terrible police work? Bringing a suspect to the crime scenes? Bringing someone with crippling…
Yeah, I'm kind of throwing logic out the window while I'm watching this π But I have such a weakness for bromance that I'm staying, plus Dew is really killing it in his role.
Hm.... I'm a huge crime thriller fan and I've seen so many cop series, movies and I've read countless crime novels…
Actually, Mr. Kill is a bromance, not a BL. Like the Sky Nani shows Highschool Frenemy and Wu. Of course they're teasing BL elements for fan service, but this series was marketed as bromance, so there won't be any steamy scenes or kissing (which I'm kind of glad about because I'm not a fan of steamy stuff π )ππΌ Just a bromance with BL undertones, haha.
Now that that's out of the way, I do agree with you on the crime aspect of the show. You bring up some good points. I suppose that aspect hasn't bothered me quite as much because I'm not quite asparticular when it comes to crime dramas π But I still wish they did better with the investigation part of the show π
Dew,Neo,and Offs characters are getting more interesting . And their acting is getting more intense . Tees acting…
Yeah, I'm hoping for a little more nuance from Tee's character too...his acting isn't terrible, but it isn't really impressing me... I think him and Dew have good chemistry and they look good together. I'm still invested in the story though, and I eat up anything bromance, so I'm definitely not dropping it π
These episodes feel so short π It was a decent episode. Stuff happened, but then it felt like not enough things happened at the same time π But Dew is such a good actor π€πΌAnd when Kaye was talking about his past to Phat, I felt so bad for him π’ And honestly I wouldn't be upset if Kaye ended up being the killer, it would kind of make sense, with what he went through as a child...that guy has lots of trauma...but who knows π€·πΌββοΈ I'm excited to see where the plot goes though!
It's a bromance, but with BL undertones, and they are very shippable, like Sky Nani projects (Highschool Frenemy and Wu)
