The laws haven't changed in Mainland China. Any BLs that are being made are still not allowed to air in Mainland China. To my limited knowledge, the companies making BLs with Chinese actors are co-produced with entertainment companies outside of China, like Thailand and Singapore. I'm sure there are other work arounds that production teams use too. But they air outside of China, although I'm sure plenty of Chinese people find ways to watch them anyway, haha.

Yeah 😭 I sure hope it wasn't because this drama has bromance, but I doubt that was the main reason, because there couldn't have been 12 episodes worth of "bromance" stuff in the first place, haha. Sometimes dramas are filmed and they have an estimated number of episodes once filming starts, but then the final episode count ends up less 🤷🏼‍♀️ So who knows 🤔

That's unfortunate, if that's what's going on in Thailand. But from what it seems, Wu is doing very well in Thailand and SkyNani is still very popular there so 🤷🏼‍♀️ And BL still can't air in Mainland China sadly. The laws haven't changed at all there. It's just that a lot more companies are finding ways to make BLs with Chinese actors and find loopholes around those laws - like filming in other countries, or getting foreign investors/production companies to back them. So yes, there are a lot more CBLs coming out because of that. I think some have technically had parts filmed in China (or perhaps all for some), but yeah, they can't legally air in Mainland China. I'm sure plenty of people in China find ways to watch them anyway, via VPN or something like that, haha.

Yes, not enough 😭 Although, I watch a lot of Cdramas, and they're still pretty good at pumping out shows with bromance in them. But Thai bromance just hits differently!
