The show regressed from having an intriguing premise and fresh characters to the tropiest tropes, gaping plotholes, random burst of possessiveness, nasty meddling females (for all the self-hating girls out there), quick-fix resolutions instead of communicating like a couple that spends a good part of the day (and night) together.

Every time Mil and Sarawat shared screen-space, frankly all that aggression and possessiveness was so off-putting. Even more when Tine suddenly couldn't utter a word in their presence. (wife trope at work here obviously.) Why did his character suddenly change just because he liked a boy?

The real relationship's pacing is also so wack. They get into a relationship, a completely new thing for both of them and bam, they're suddenly living together.Time passes. They share a freaking mattress but they don't lounge there together (which they had in the first few episodes, remember) there's no silly discussions, no seeking comfort and cheering each other on bad days (that stomach ache scene broke me), no doing chores together, no getting irritated by each other's quirks,no making up after small disagreements, no bugging each other for fun, no looking at each other affectionately. Basically no emotional intimacy whatsoever, I could go on.

The reason why this ending seems empty, is because developmentally their relationship is still where it was when Mil entered the picture- same insecurities, same lack of communication.

The ever changing haircuts gave me the impression that some of the last episode was shot earlier. The acting is stunted and distant just when they should be most comfortable with each other. Fong is the only consistent and sane character in the drama that I can stand behind.

Gmmtv is always like this, "Hey guys here's this new cool shiny thing" and so you think, "Ohhhhhh! nice, really interesting stuff.I'm so hyped, let me have a closer look." So you start walking closer to a get a better look and just when you get close enough, your jaw slack with wonder (That was me from ep 1-4), out comes a sledgehammer that just smashes that beautiful thing to pieces. They really do end it with a bang, a completely unnecessary one.

In the end, it's not really all that bad. It's just that expectations were created that were never met. Ep 1- 4 took us so high that the fall down hurt more than usual.
