I skipped to the end. I loved the scene where the FL was teaching the Little Emperor how to be a smart, capable, strategic Emperor who knew how to fight. Loved that their bond stayed and they didn’t turned on each other. Like in his previous role in Pursuit of Jade when he basically said only incompetent leaders go over after loyal subjects.

Every time the FL is in danger the swordsman shows up, is it just her fighting while blacking out?

Yeah, it needed to wrap up some storylines. I wanted to see what happened with her jealous cousin, wanted to see her sister’s happy married life, wanted to see the emperor punish the traitors, wanted to see the happy couple moments with a baby
