The live-action adaptation remained true to the source material, and all the actors delivered stellar performances. However, my sole critique of the film lies in the wardrobe choices; they appeared overly pristine and brand new. Given the wartime setting and the characters' exposure to harsh conditions, their clothing seemed too immaculate. For instance, when Sugimoto was attacked by a bear, his attire miraculously remained unscathed, lacking any signs of wear and tear.
I know its K&Cream story but I feel its unfair the single mom story is included in this. That deserved its own…
Exactly! I was much more engaged with their storyline than with K and Cream's. When I rewatched it, I found myself focusing solely on An YiChi, An Ke Le, and Wang PoHan's part.
After viewing five episodes, I must admit that I'm finding it either dull or challenging to continue watching. Could someone drop some breadcrumbs and tempt me into continue this a watch?
I realize it's late, but as I was scrolling through some recommendations, it came back to me. It appears that the writer opted not to make one of the characters, who seemed likely to commit murder, the culprit, and instead chose Hana as the killer.
So in this one he is not dead?
