THISS. I totally lost interest after that ridiculous hospital revival. And after that stayed for a while hoping it gets better but nope. It only got more n more boring. Atleast hoped for some really good spooky scenes but they failed to deliver that too. I'm really disappointed is all i can say especially after how much i waited eagerly for some good angst after that cpr scene. Dropped.

I atleast hoped the ending would have some complex plot involved in finding the culprit but nope. It's again some insense the FL sniffed out that made her suspect the dowager. And wdym she had her suspicion for long? Why didn't you say anything to ur husband who's desperately searching for clues and struggling because everyone is pointing out his father.
I even thought there'd be some revolutionary action that FL did that wud make her the ruling queen like shown in opening credits or how they pranced about women power all throughout the drama. But nope, that's a fake bait too.

Sorry but is the FL supposed to be clever? All i see is her sniffing out some insense from miles away like a dog. Each and every problem is solved because it's somehow tied to some insense. There's no clever deduction involved at all. Just her wielding her dog nose plot armour lol.

The drama has been portraying the fl's mom as innocent victim but only at ep 7 did i realize the twins' anger and how fucked up it is to see your own dad getting over his wife's death, get together with the housekeeper, marry her and even have a child all within a year. Though the stepmom tried to act good n take care of the twins, she is definitely a greedy opportunist and the dad's a pos that's for sure. I can understand the twins' anger but in no way that justifies trying to kill ur own father. Kang jaegyeong just needed a reason to unleash her fucked up nature and kang jaeseong is a doormat who got screwed over by no one but his own inferiority complex. All in all i wud say that the true villain here is the dad who didn't raise his children right n remarried as if waiting for his wife's death. Oh well, he's our male lead now. But Lee jun young has charmed me into ignoring all this lol.

wht does the race and nationality of the actor playing the character got to do anything with the actual story?! The source material is Korean. The adaptation is Korean. The production is Korean. Yet somehow the dealbreaker for faithfulness is... Korean actors?

First the rich CEO and poor y/n plot with the manager, then the long lost tearful reunion under rainy umbrella scene with the secretary and finally the heart-pounding forbidden romance with his damn daughter! (All humourously ofc 😆)
