Wow this drama had it all,
The general was totally hot and fight scenes were absolutely fantastic. Xiao was definitely amazing and it started with a forced marriage and a domineering proposal that left puzzled but kept me intrigued as well.
The deception and lies and then plot turnaround was really what kept us hooked. Jiayu was clever and kept her wit which was really cute. Mao was difficult to read, but j am totally glad he turned out to be a good guy.
The romance was slow but you could see the attraction through trust and loyalty.
Overall it's a good drama and a political or romance its a mystery that keeps unfolding and guessing. The pace is good and there was no unnecessary filler.
