First Ever Reality Show ...

Okay I don't normally watch shows, but this show caught my attention mainly because of the cast, 3 of the hottest and most lovable men (Jackson Wang/Arthur Chen/Allen Ren)!!!!

So they really paired together and looked like they had so much fun doing all the experiments together. I so enjoyed the show not only for them, but also I sort of learnt a few things myself which I didn't know about.

Jackson for me was the most funniest one out of the bunch, and he seemed to more keen to do the experiments, he was not shy or had any problems trying out certain things. and he seemed to get along well with every one in the group.

Arthur was my second best to watch, he had such character about himself and seemed to get along.

This show was really interesting and I think the individuals made the show a success, they tackled every day issues, and experiments that make one think

A truly an enjoyable show

Good Story Line

This movie had a really good story line, but unfortunately for me it didn't come across, it was poorly excuted.

The thing I liked the most is that I watched it solely for the romance factor but it turned out to be so much more than just that.

Where i felt let down was the timeline just didn't seem to flow and as we nearing the end it felt like it was being rushed, the begining of this movie started off a really good foot, and it definately touched on issues that are most likely happening today, but when it came down to it, it just seemed to have been rushed over.

Nagisa, he's the cutest character and his relationship with his daughter, you could feel the love he had for his daughter and how he wanted to be with her, and see the carreer mom, who is caught betweeen to loving her kid but also wanting to progress in life, the thing that I disliked the most was the fact, yes she was hurt by what transpired and possibly felt betrayed or lied too, but it just seemed that she wanted to get back at her husband for lieing to her by using the child, and unfortunately that is the very case in today society and all around us. she allowed her grudge to come between a father and daughter, and her mom who was not really present but seemed to have a lot to say.

Overall: This is a good movie, for me though I just felt there were important things that they should have expanded on and have more of understanding, as it did touch on some serious issues such as rights to raising a child.

Extremely Basic ....

Once again I was let down but the title of the drama, Craving you was not what I had in mind for this kind of BL!!!

I understand it’s challenging to produce a drama with well fleshed out plot and real character growth when you’re making a 10 minutes episode drama, But not now. Not when there are other dramas out there that has shown that they can produce good content with fluff or a little angst and with great chemistry can this be acceptable. This drama for me just didn't have any flow to it, we never got to see a build of the characters, then a second couple got thrown in and we never got to understand what happened between them, the airport scene was a really cliche, the wedding was so done, then move to a couch where they make out (this last episode of them making out was probably the only good thing about this entire drama)

The acting was extremely basic, to the point one could say low budget, the music was okay not going to make my playlist.

This series felt like a fever dream. With me not knowing wtf was going on half the time lol. They shoved so much into this that I kept getting whiplash from character/plot changes.

Beautiful & Short Story

So this drama is literally a short story of a total 4 episodes, and although I did find it a bit all over the place it was kind of sweet to watch and did'nt take up the time.

The Story was good, and had potential if they could have dragged it out and give us more of in depth of too how and why the split personaltiy took place, also the reason why he followed him all the time, and we could have watched how they love for each other developed. I did feel like that they were a jump in times and the flow just did not make any sense. The one that I did find extremely annoying is that the next the episode, literally had at leaset 3 minutes of the previous episdode, which I feel that they could you used that time to progress they story out more.

The ML were not so bad, and they did a good job, except I find some of the lines a bit 'stiff'. Main couple's kisses were very real and did not appear to be awkward so another big plus to their acting, the second couple was really confusing to the point I really wondered what they part was, as there was hardly any interaction accept at the end of the drama, and we have no idea what actually transpired between the two?

Overall : this drama is short, but they could have given us more, and it would have definately been a well worth watch.

Bromance ...

Okay this is a bromance and not a BL, but having said that, its was a really good and extremely enjoyable to watch, I literally watched this drama in one sitting that is how good it was.

This Drama is a separate beast altogether. Though the main relationship remains explosive with unresolved sexual tension that is very palpable, in absence of actual sex a real mentor and pupil relationship comes to a forefront and the progression of said relationship is very realistic. As a rule the story deals with two very different and lonely people who have no one they can trust, as they are thrust into a situation they both don't want while being chained by their temperaments and positions., And the show does very well with the options it got.

The main characters were really put together, you can feel and see the chemistry between them, it would have been nice for them to have had some NC scenes (but with China on rampage with this I guess we have to settle with no touchy adaptations)
not only were there a well, pair but they both were hot in looks, your typical BAD BOY, meets White collar boy. there were well matched I thought & decently-paced, in a way that really drew me in, if perhaps while implementing plotlines & characters that one could perhaps say have been done before.

I thought the acting, at very least of the two lead males especially, was very powerful and well-done & very compelling; I thought they also had excellent chemistry and played very very well off of each other. From their facial-expressions, to their vocal-tones, & their overall body-language & everything...it was all so excellently conveyed by these actors that, in my opinion, it crossed into that silver/golden line where really great acting actually becomes completely surreal & even almost Unreal to watch for me in how perfectly & how POWERFULLY portrayed it is. when in reality it is actually a pretty rare person who actually conveys their emotions so well or so flawlessly that it is nearly impossible to so-easily mistake except perhaps if you aren't really particularly attentive or learned to such specifics or detail. (But, it wasn't just the leads, many - if not even all - of the rest of the cast also acted very capably well.) I thought the whole cast embodied their characters well, although - I suppose - I can not truly compare the characters from the tv series to those in the novel...nothing I have heard of the novels so far has really deviated from what I had personally seen in the tv series. Of course, every reader of any novel will have their own ideas regarding that anyhow, I'm sure.

Overall, this is a great show, and the story is so different that it got me hooked. A must watch! Again, BROMANCE…LOL.

What earth was this?

OMG .... this is really painful to watch.

Two of the six couples were okay to watch mainly because I had seen them in other dramas, but the rest of it, gosh it was terrible. thank goodness it was only 6 episodes long.

It is difficult to give Close Friend a single, comprehensive review since each of the six episodes depicts a story independent from the rest.

Sorry. I will never rewatch this. 3 from me. And my rating is only that high because of Episodes 3 and 5, which still weren't really all that great.

Started off well .... then lost it ....

Okay this drama was not really on my list, It sort of just popped in while scrolling. And it first it started off really well, then somewhere along the line it got lost in translation.

The fist few minutes of the show set them in University, before flashing back to 7 episodes of high school, which can be a little confusing to start. The evolution of Itt and Pai felt much more natural with slow burn feelings and stolen looks, as well as trying to figure out how they felt about each other. When they get to university, everything felt kind of forced. For me the whole misunderstanding over a class room, then boom we at a university gathering and there was no spark whatsoever between them was really disappointing.

Then you have pure who had a scare in high school, but didn't seem to mend his ways was a really tragedy. The fact that the writer touched on this topic, but it somehow didn't hit the impact of how dangerous unprotected sex is, and just flew over the top his head, and carried on with messed up ways, was really disappointing. I like the fact that we have an unabashedly bisexual character without much fanfare and effort to harp on the issue of bisexuality. Pure's most prominent trait is his promiscuity, but he is a character whom one can sympathize with.

Waan was really sweet in this drama, and always seemed to have friends back.

It's ridiculous how 90% of the problems in the show could have been solved by just talking and communicating. I know people are a little like that too, but seriously? I still don't get how Itt stays by Pai's side by helping and taking care of him in the dark but is not capable of talking to him face to face to clarify he's not angry at him nor does he hate him. What's the point?

Another point is that we can't see when and how Itt starts liking Pai. The acting is more obvious on Pai's case, but Itt? Not his dialogues, nor his face or eyes say a thing. Then he acts all angry when he finds out about the classroom, doesn't talk to him for months, and then suddenly appears, helps him and likes him? "he was never angry"

This drama lacked a whole lot, it's like the writers/producers are putting less and less effort every time. Little budget, rookie actors who are obviously handsome.

Overall: it's an okay watch, but it definitely lacks a whole lot!!

Real Life ... heartbreaking ... hits home

Okay first off I am probably real late in watching this drama... but OMG I am not sorry I started and ended this in the day.

Firstly this drama for me was real life with the pandemic still at large in many places. And I am sure that we have all lost someone dear and loved by us, and also witnessed the strength of many who have pulled through. So hats off to the writer/producer/ML/ and screen writers/ and all those who made this drama real and emotional and heartbreaking.

The backdrop of the drama is centered around the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect world wide, particularly in the Philippines. The main characters find themselves on mandatory lockdown by the government and must spent majority of their times indoors. Cairo, a self-proclaimed gamer and a nerd, spends his day doing live broadcast, amassing a following that include the cheeky and always smiling Gavreel —who we later learned has been following Cairo’s live streams after the death of his grandmother and went into depression-and develops a crush on the gamer.

This drama touched on a lot of things, but for me the most amazing part was the way that Mental health, guilt/blame, and forgiveness took center stage.

Pearl- Wow, Pearl was literally my favorite female character not just in this series, but possibly ever. She was the shipper female friend that was there for the couple, defended them, but also knew when not to interfere with their love lives. She had a strong sense of right and wrong and would even argue with her best friend on Cairo’s behalf if she thought he did something wrong. My favorite quote of hers is “if you did something stupid don’t use mental health as an excuse, own up to your mistakes make up for it and don’t do it again”. She literally made this drama and I loved her positive attitude throughout this drama, she had a sense of security but at the same time always made sure everyone was safe, she also knew when or sign off when the guys need there time, she truly was the star of the drama.

This is an amazing BL series , maybe one of the best BL series not just from the Philippines but from all over. Thank you so much for this, and the fact it centered around what is currently happening, makes this drama even more real and realistic.

Not worth it

Wow tis drama is not worth watching unless gif a fan of the ML (max),

It felt like this drams was just over all over place, and the supporting roles were so annoying and frus3, especially eve!! She was so bad that I would literally just watching or skip when she appeared, even Claudia with her her self doubt and leading JC on.

The music was just as bad.

And then you Ms Jennista who is like a glorified hooker, takes what she needs znd throws out when she is done, how does one go from crying to meeting the pool boy workout in a matter of seconds?

This whole drama was really bad and annoying, the story line of a fat kid in love with his classmate,
An insecure girl who js jealous of a hostess, a boy who cant decide between the two
An old lady who pines or her late husband, but falls in love with a younger boy, who is supposedly heartbroken over a girl, who gets beaten up by her boyfriend but ends up sleeping with the ex boyfriend who lies to the older girl, oh and what happens to her?
A foreign who comes home in search of love. Meets his mate (fat kid), but ends up in one big misunderstandings that only get resolved in final episode!!

Overall : I can't honestly this is worth, unless yi need to shirtless muscle men.

Dark yet disappointing ...

A story of two young women and one young man in the booming period of the 1990's who rise up with their dreams that fizzle into thin air yet find life in the midst of despair. I knew nothing about Wild Grass going in, except that the cinematography was not going to disappoint. And it didn't, sadly the rest of the film wasn't quite on the same level.

It's a rather messy setup that sometimes works against the film, I think more tonal consistency would've been better here. The use of color and lighting is absolutely stunning though, camera work and editing aren't quite as good, the soundtrack too could've been a bit more distinctive. Wild Grass still fails to grasp the brass ring. An ambitious drama, centered on three people, about trying to realize one’s dreams.

I just found it really hard to connect with any of characters, and the story is kind of messed up, I literally watched this for Johnny Huang, but sadly was a bit disappointed, maybe if it was a series, and give each of the 3 characters there own story line then in this movie where is was all over show it might have worked better.

Fair & Adorable ...

the actors are perfect in their roles and all have exceptional chemistry with each other. I don’t know enough about volleyball to judge if it was presented correctly but it looked good and several of the actors are volleyball players. I really loved the inclusion of Liu Hung-Min and Liu Hong-Jie, as I always like it when real life professionals are cast in series when it comes to sports. this series is adorable. Both couples are engaging and a pleasure to watch. Xia Yu Hao is such a fantastic character and how Fandy portrays him is the cutest.

There is a lovely element of first love in how Xia Yu Hao acts, he is excited and jumps head first into everything he does regarding Qiu Zi Xuan. Qiu Zi Xuan on the other hand is a lot more reserved showing his joy when it comes to volleyball. The contrast between them both is also well done as it is not played up too much which is often an issue some series have. I really liked all of the side-characters in the series too, especially He Cheng En. All of the friendships were perfect and supportive which I liked. I also liked how they connected Obsessed with the series, it adds something a little extra.

It is less dramatic because there aren’t really any threatening people trying to sabotage their relationship. I liked this about the show a lot because it feels more realistic this way. When a drama gets too intense because of an evil person getting in the way, it’s usually not as good. I like it when all the characters are fairly decent and understanding people.

Overall its a kind of a okay drama..

Another waste

I honestly dont understand how this got high ratings.
This one is by far the worst of the franchise. Started off in 2025 (really i don't now why) then we die and come back to the same spot years later, (rolling eyes)

The relationship was toxic, and dysfunction, i get its called obsessed, but honestly there was no character development or story line, there was no consequences to the sexual assaults.

This one i actually fast forward certain parts as i just couldn't wait to get over with it.

Another waste

A bit disappointing

So I started this drama because of the ML after watching him in Vincenzo, (totally wrong reason I know) but hey.

I especially liked the whole shirtless scenes of the guys in uniform (yes girl here is sucker for a man in uniform)!!! and the whole sweat scenes, but after getting over all of that, this drama started to drag on, the FL was a bit annoying, the idea of this character being an outspoken female doctor who cares deeply about her patients, coworkers, and boyfriend was fantastic, but the actor's performance was not convincing. Rather than all of the positive aspects of her character that I mentioned, this actress's performance made the character come across as petulant in a way.

I knew the actors who played these roles were together after some research so i though i would have witnessed the love grow and see how they fell for each other, I did have high hopes for their chemistry, but I was disappointed yet again. but their relationship growth was quite complicated, and I believe it was due to a lot of going back and forth in the relationship.

The ML was not so bad, but the cheesy lines were putting off at times.

Ending was not what I expected

This drama ending was definitely not what i thought would happen. I was expecting a happy ever after. Accept Tang yi turned himself in and offer meng was left saying goodbye and he will be missed. Hmm

Okay so the story was not so bad, police officer falls in love with a gang member who is seeking revenge for his father that was murdered. Tang yi was hot and officer meng was just your average bloke. The story flowed very nicely and kept you wondering what was going to happen and guessing.

Music was okay nothing to talk about,.

The second couple was a bit funny and kinda cute would have liked to see more from them.

Overall it was good ?

Terrible .... Dragging .... Pitiful

So this is the 3rd BL series I thought I would try and what a disappointment it was.

The main cast Fighter and Tutor story had no chemistry and was lacking a whole lot of love, I especially found tutor very pitiful and downright annoying, compared to fighter who had a more "I know what I want" attitude and was prepared to go all out.
Tutor despite his hardships was extremely pitiful, he came across as a tease the whole backwards and forwards every time fighter tried to be loving was such very annoying, the one thing he had going for himself was his bedroom eyes when he decided to show his love for fighter. Even the scenes between felt like it was forced, there was no flow to this drama, and it just seemed to drag out. Even though there were only 12 episodes, I found myself having to skip some of them, cuz i just couldn't handle Tutor pitifulness.

The second couple had more of story and way more interactions, he was very comical and kept you entertained.

So not worth watching it!!
