I had the same feeling. I've watched other dramas since VOS ended, but I haven't found anything as grand as it.…
Exactly, It’s the kind of drama that hits deep. I feel like there weren’t enough sweet scenes; they spent most of the time suffering. I watched Pursuit of Jade and I liked it, but I got bored around the middle and ended up skipping parts. I was shocked it’s so highly rated despite the dragging plot, though I still gave it a good score. I don’t understand the strict reviews for Veil of Shadows either, Everything was so well-rounded and wrapped up perfectly 😠It just goes to show you really shouldn’t trust ratings alone!
I'm now realizing that I shouldn't trust the ratings lol. I think I enjoy most dramas I watch whether low budget…
I totally agree! I also don’t get what people actually expect from a drama sometimes. Take this one, for example: the costumes were beautiful, the chemistry between the leads was great, and the actors were not only good-looking but also delivered solid performances. The story felt fresh and it’s honestly one of the best Wuxias out there. I feel like people nowadays either get bored too easily or expect everything to cater exactly to their personal taste; otherwise, they just tank the rating
