I see you’re around ep13, where they’re just starting to introduce the ML’s side. To be honest, many of those new characters have very little screen time, I didn’t even remember half of them until I checked the episode just now! they aren’t even crucial to the plot. The main leads are the ones who really matter, so keeping your focus on them is enough. Also, I feel giving it a 1-star rating is a bit harsh. I totally get that this drama isn’t your cup of tea and why you decided to drop it, but a ‘1’ feels a little unfair, especially since you mentioned you liked the actors and they were the reason you started it. Personally, if I don’t like a show and drop it, I just leave it unrated. + I’m not trying to force you to change your mind or spread any hate, just sharing my perspective, don't mind
Is this too heavy on politics and palace schememing, cuz I was planning to give this a try but I really get bored…
I feel the same! That’s actually why I couldn’t finish Story of Kunning Palace and ended up skipping through the second half. However, I’m watching this one for the cast, and their chemistry is good. You can do what I do and just skip the political parts
This drama is really beautiful and it became one of my top favorites!! Fortunately that I don't depend on Ratings…
Ratings on MDL aren’t exactly reliable; there are always dramas that get review-bombed by haters. I’m usually pretty stingy with my ratings, but this drama is truly impressive.
This is the kind of story with a lot going on but I kept wondering if I really needed to know all of it just to…
I don’t know about you, but I found all those events genuinely entertaining. What I loved was that the FL wasn’t the type to throw everything away for love, she struggled between her loyalty and her heart. But the ML? He was exactly that kinda type, the one who would give everything up for love. It takes a while for her to come to her senses, but their chemistry is amazing. Definitely give it another shot! You can always fast-forward the side stories if they bother you
If you don’t mind political drama, you can watch the whole thing. Personally, I skipped through all the political talk. 😂 I only watched it for Yiran, I’m not even a fan of the FL
why to move on? I keep celebrating that we have this beautiful story 🥰
I really need to stop thinking about them, you know, It’s honestly heartbreaking that their lives were so full of pain, and in the end, we only got to see a few minutes of their happiness🥲 I can’t even look at other couples right now, they just don’t compare. I need to start a new show and move on😭
Guys, what did you do after finishing this?🫠 Have you started watching anything else yet? I honestly can’t move on from them… The chemistry between Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi was insane. I could feel the grief, pain, loneliness, and love all at once just through Ji Ling’s facial expressions. And Lu Wuyi is hands down one of the most beautiful actoresses I’ve ever seen. Someone tell me, how am I supposed to move on?🥲
just remembered on the og script lu wuyi died on jiling's arms right after he killed jiu ying😭😭
OMG, I didn't know that. I already can’t move on from them, so if it had gone like you said, I would’ve been ruined.😭 Even though I still don’t fully get it, in that world, that lu wuyi died. Even if Ji Ling goes back to the padt, that lu wuyi isn’t the same person who went through all of that with Ji Ling anymore. she’s just not the same. you know what I mean? I really don’t know how I’m supposed to see that as a happy ending.
I don’t watch sad ending dramas usually. But this one was an exception. I went in even when I knew about the…
oh god,I honestly don’t know whether I should be proud of myself for watching all the dramas you mentioned, or sad because I don’t have a feel‑good one to watch right now. Thanks though 😂 Guess I’m just waiting for the next masterpiece to drop
