Replay? Replay.

So I was randomly going through my watchlist on Viki and I see this. I saw the summary and I thought I wasn't going to watch it, but then I saw the episodes were only about 10-15 minutes long so I thought to myself, yeah I'll try it and see how it goes. It wasn't disappointing. What I specifically liked about this was that the show went back and forth with the past and present, which looked really nice. And can we talk about how the group is squad goals?? They get along so fine, it's actually kind of unbelievable that they're acting-

Cho Mi Yeon was such a sweet character. She was so kind and oblivious and I loved that about her. Gong Chan Young is the most adorkable male lead character ever. I loved him, he's so wholesome ahhhh. Lee Ji Hoon was one fine ass second male lead. I wish there was more insight on that moment with the waitress though, manz needs some love after being stuck on Mi Yeon for so long. Im Seo Eun is the essence of a female friend, she was so supportive. She was so cute whenever it came to Shim Tae Young, she denied everything yet she didn't. I could tell she liked him a lot though. Shim Tae Young is the kind of guy who can be everybody's friend, and I love it.

This show lowkey needs a season 2, I want to see everyone's relationships develop.

Best Historical Drama.

This drama was made with people that have minds of the gods, period. It was so enjoyable, it had a little of everything, which I was really impressed with. Not even going to lie, I actually considered watching this show all over again, it's just that entertaining. The ending was a little too undeveloped, since all they did at the end was meet in the hospital and then hugged when they found out they were in the same dream--which I might added creeped tf out of me.

Chen Qianqian is the best princess over, I take no criticism. Although she was technically the worst one out of the three princesses and had a bad reputation according to her script, she managed to completely turn her fate around. She's caring, quirky, and bold I might add. Han Shuo was the most adorable male lead ever. He looked so cute every time Qianqian gave him attention, or when he was angry at her. I won't lie, he seemed like a douche at the beginning of the show. But, he's a master of acting here. I felt so bad every time he asked Qianqian if she loved him. OMG THAT ONE FIGHT THEY HAD BROKE MY HEART. Chen Chuchu was a very likable character at first. She seemed very loving towards Qianqian. At the end of the show, it's like a demon possessed her for no reason. Pei Heng was a good character, not even gonna lie. Sometimes though, I wish he wasn't such a pushover. He lets Han Shuo get the best of him, and I think he was too emotionally attached to Qianqian. Chen Yuanyuan IS SO PRETTY OMG. She's so soft and kindhearted, and the way how much she cares for Su Mu is adorable. Speaking of Su Mu, he's a graceful character, but I wish he considered Yuanyuan more when he ran away from his feelings like that. Their story is pretty much overlooked, I wish they had more moments. ZI RUI AND BAI JI ARE THE BEST SERVANTS EVER. They're so funny, and I love how entertained they are with Qianqian and Han Shuo's obliviousness. If I had a servant like that, I'd keep them for life. Lin Qi's character development is truly shocking, but the way how she and Qianqian clicked was preciousssssss. I liked the City Owner of Huayuan City, but Xuanhu's City Owner was really inconsiderate. And Han Shuo's mom...SHE'S GORGEOUS.

In conclusion, this whole show was clearly made with great potential, and this needs a season 2. I want to see Yuanyuan, Su Mu, and the moms in the modern world.

"Doom at Your Service" Meh, Not Really

Y'all tbh when I first saw the title. I genuinely thought it would be like Doom would be some kind of butler to the female lead, and I guess I wasn't wrong?? I saw how much negativity this show had and after reading some of them, they did make sense. The middle of the show was kind of confusing and it threw me off a little, but in general I understood what happened.

Tak Dong Kyung is a very realistic character and I like that about her. She's always conscious about whether or not she effecting someone's lifestyle, which is a habit I kind of have, and I think a lot of people will agree with me on that. Kim Sa Ram, man I loved him. The way how he always randomly asked Dong Kyung if he could kill another person was funny. And remember that scene where he said "Do you want me to kneel?" and Dong Kyung goes "Why are you still standing?", I thought that was so cute. CHA JOO IK. Sir, you are the CEO of comebacks. This man does not like not having the last word, does he? But it's really amusing. I remember when he said to Dong Kyung "Life is your work, and your work becomes your life. I like that attitude." and she replied something about him always saying something profitable. I need a Cha Joo Ik in my life, I don't care what anyone says. Na Ji Na was an okay character, I personally didn't see why she was added in the beginning, because her complicated relationship with her first love was kind of unnecessary in the story but she still got Joo Ik as a sexy demon boyfriend, so whatever. Lee Hyun Kyu...y'all I couldn't handle him sobbing. Like, no please don't cry you'll find someone. I enjoyed the side characters, specifically Dong Kyung's colleagues, her brother, and Young Prince. I didn't know the actor of Sun Kyung was a band member of sf9, who I don't really listen to, but their song 'Now or Never' is godly. I enjoyed the bromance, and this would have been a rom-com if they included more funny scenes, but I guess there was enough to make me laugh at times. In general, if you want a drama to pass the time, this drama is perfect. If you're like me that doesn't have high standards for dramas, this is also great.

This Show Was Something Else, Period.

This drama was very interesting to watch. I loved the concept of Xing Yue's tribe completely respecting women. The characters were something else. There were two things I never understood, however. First off, who on earth was Xing Yue's mom and how was she able to get the stone from the cave? Was Yun He her mom without her knowing, and since Uncle Wen was Yun He's lover, was Uncle Wen Xing Yue's dad? The other thing I never understood was how did Gao Zhenhe manage to leave his town after his parents both die, and nobody heard or knew anything? It makes no sense, so I think the neighborhood had something to do with his dad's death. Then again, these two theories are just theories. That part where Dong Yun Xi lifted Li An bridal style and just walked away was pretty unnecessary if it wasn't ever going to be explained. I think they did sleep together, but either they have an unspoken agreement to never mention it, or Dong Yun Xi is hiding it from her since she was drunk and maybe didn't remember it.

Xing Yue's innocence was something you don't see a lot, and it was so funny to see the others try so hard not to ruin it. Gao Zhen He was a little annoying at first because he was so full of himself, but I liked him later on because he was so funny. Xia Na was ok, I mean she was nice and all, but towards the middle of the show I think she got a little too petty with Xing Yue. Qin Shu is honestly one of the best second-male-leads I've ever seen. He's so geeky in his own way, it's adorable. This man is the definition of "cute boyfriend". Yi Tian is a little too stubborn and oblivious, but I guess it was ok. I wish he had a little more personality. Jiayu is a great character, but I wish she was in the show earlier, because honestly it looked it she was the main side character or whatever. Li An was just plain annoying, I felt like slapping this girl ALL THE TIMEEEEE. Dong Yunxi was tolerable just because he's hot and charismatic. Uncle Wen was ok at first, but when all that stuff about his past was revealed, I was a little disappointed in him.

Damn, now I want a second season that explains everything that happened.

CEOs of Being Single? YESSIRRRRR

This entire show in general was beautiful, from the characters to the lessons learned throughout, this show set my expectations for college. If it ain't like this, it sucked. I first watched this drama because when I read the synopsis, I was really surprised how much I related to Yuan Qian. I'm also very picky about guys. If I see even the smallest unbearable habit, I stay away. The show had a very simple theme: there's a bunch of college kids that bonds under a department.

Qin Shen did leave me a little pissed at first, but then I realized he doesn't know how to show his feelings. He tried to make Yuan Qian happy, which I respect and appreciate about him. Yuan Qian is very protective of herself and her friends. She adores her roommates even though she wanted to change majors because of a measly deal with her dad. She also knows how to avoid guys, which honestly is me. Yuan Qian and Qin Shen's roommates are something else. Yi Ming is very sweet, and respects Qin Shen. Yi Ming honestly would be cute with Lu Jia Ning, they balance each other perfectly. Chen Qi Nan is hilarious, he never misses the chance to be mischievous. He's such a troublemaker, and it's funny that he's easily intimidated by Lu Xin Xin when she's mad. Lu Jia Ning so really headstrong. She's determined to get everything the way she likes it, which I really like about her. She's like the rock of the dorm. Lu Xin Xin is funny and a foodie, kind of like me. She takes things to heart so she can be easily swayed. Xue Chong Yang was very intimidated in her first year. She's like the wallflower of the show; she barely has any screen time and honestly is very underrated. Song Siyi might be handsome and a sweetheart, but he was kind of trying too hard. I wonder if Song Siyi and Xue Chong Yang ever got together; but probably not, since in the epilogue he didn't appear and wasn't even mentioned. Ling Wei was just straight up confused through this whole show. Jia Si Cheng's feelings were honestly the most raw out of anyone. He cared about sculpting a lot. Ling Wei may have been his friend, but he liked her a lot. I honestly felt really happy that Qin Shen, Ling Wei, and Jia Si Cheng are happy and are friends again.

Family of Thieves vs Family of Cops

Daughter of Lupin was actually my first Asian drama to watch. The story was short, only 11 episodes, but I really liked the plot of the story. It was saddening to see Kazu-kun and Hana suffer like that. I loved the warmth Hana's family had. They might've been thieves, but they were thieves together. Kazu-kun's family was a little too uptight, especially his mom. I honestly felt sad when the show finished. I felt like there HAS to be more to the story. Lo and behold, BOOM, season 2.

Mikumo Hana was so sweet, it was kind of funny that a honest girl like her was in a family of dishonest people. Sakuraba Kazuma was a sweetheart with Hana. I felt like crying and laughing every time he was angry. Anger does not suit him. Enjoji Akira was kind of irrelevant, I didn't see any reason for him to be in the show but it's whatever. The Mikumo family in general was kind of like your typical overrated family. The mom refuses to think she's old, the dad doesn't want the family to be apart, the grandma teaches the grandkids naughty things, and the grandpa barely shows up but ends up being the coolest. The Sakuraba family makes me pray I never get married into a family like that. The mom is too uptight about everything, the dad is bipolar af, and the sister is literally mom's clone. The grandpa made up with Hana's grandparents so that's good.

Squid Game?? More Like Death Games

Squid Game was truly something else. I expected a bunch of games, but did I expect everything that happened during and after the games? No, definitely not. This obviously needs a season 2 since the ending was kind of crappy. Don't get me wrong, the beginning and the show in general was excellent. However, I wish the ending was a little more developed.

Seong Gi Hoon was an interesting character. He was naïve of a sort, even though he was been through a lot. Even after what happened at the end, he continued to live his life the way it was before. Cho Sang Woo honestly did not deserve to last so long in the games. This man was dangerous and we couldn't even detect it. Kang Sae Byeok was the best character, hands down. She faced everything head-on which is something I want to do whenever I'm in the middle of a situation. Hwang Jun Ho was pretty irrelevant in my opinion because his purpose was to only find his brother who went missing. The hot thing about him was that he always used the words of someone whenever he was "violated". There's no closure about him, which I wish did happen. Hopefully in season 2, we'll get closure about him. Ali was too innocent in this drama. All he wanted was money for his wife and kid, poor guy couldn't even get anything, but he left his family a good amount. Oh Il Nam...I don't know, I have a confusing view about him. He treated the guys so nice, but at the end what he explained was messed up. Ji Yeong was also badass, her ending is undeserved, she deserved a second chance.

There's a bunch of other characters I would have reviewed, but meh it's whatever lol
