I often want to read theories and sometimes people perceive same scenes differently or sometimes you miss some details and people notice those, I come here to read those but sigh, it's always the same damn thing. These people are getting more draggy and repetitive than Yimeng's "Nana Heng is bad" I get people's frustration over dragged plot. I do think they could have wrapped up the whole misunderstanding thing by ep 21 at least. I would agree with constructive criticism but it's just the same thing everyday and almost every comment. They're now even bashing her for cpr thing like c'mon 😭 that's literally her doing what dramas do

This comment section will be soon bashing Song Yimeng for breathing the wrong way. "Cpr" and it's just them parodying the cliche kiss cpr scenes in dramas but ofcourse aa usual people just don't understand a damn thing and again it's all Yimeng's fault. I think I'd enjoy better if I just stop reading these comments which make no constructive criticism. And the "only xyz is carrying the drama" is so annoying but oh well what can you expect from mdl viewers

They don't remember anything SYM has been doing for NH, she has been saving him in her own ways since last few episodes. But no one will remember. According to people, There's no development in her character. I'm not sure if I'm watching a wrong drama or people just comprehend only through loud spoon feeding dialogues and not understanding the conversations. The emperor literally asked her to testify against Nan Heng, she had such a good opportunity, but she refused. She realised he isn't as wrong as she may see him. But people fast forward these scenes and watch only NH's scenes and then be like "where's FL's growth?"

"Why does Nan Heng even like Yimeng?" Well yeah because everyone except for his mom, have always manipulated him and used The 7th prince Nan Heng for their own goals. Then for the first time, he saw a girl caring about him(LSL, who wasn't a prince. Who didn't serve any purpose to her) Putting her own life at risk while saving him. I do believe, writer lacked few monologues for NH and Yimeng to make it clear for people who things at face value and won't connect dots. But still, people who say Yimeng doesn't know Nan Heng, do you guys know him tho? I hardly comment in comment section but mdl users have made me comment so much for this show😭

Please first correct your information. It's also produced by Shochiku, a japanese production house. It's a collaboration work of two production houses. Also, I don't understand , so what if a korean production house is involved too? DS itself said that they made it keeping Jdrama essence. And people are just stating their opinion which version they liked. It's alright to compare two different pieces of fiction adapted from same source material.

The screen writer is japanese. Don't just disrespect screen writer by erasing her contribution. She has adapted and is the screen writer of one of the most popular and classic jdramas. Also, I don't think people will watch a bad show only for male lead.

Of course I remember everything she has done to him too, and of course I understand his reasoning too. I'm not blaming him,Im writing this from Yimeng's pov. because people aren't getting where she's coming from. Nan Heng, everyone is understanding his reasons. But not hers. I like both the leads or else I would have just dropped the drama. I do think there's a bit issue in pacing. By ep 24, misunderstanding should have been cleared but let's see.

Song Yimeng still suspicious yet gets soft towards NH. He asks about her sister out of nowhere. She tries everything to stop the "cheating" scene. Then the whole cheating thing happens. NH instead of explaining her things well, asks guards to guard Yiting. Not letting anyone meet. But he says "trust me once" so why is Song Yimen not trusting him? Hmmm. Who cares if all his actions are opposite of what he's speaking, who cares if he's not at all helping clear her misunderstanding but he is at least saying "trust me once". He had plenty of time to tell her that he's LSL but he didn't because of his fear. And he got caught at wrong time but at least he said "trust me once" so why is she not trusting him? Hmm I wonder why. He tried to kill her multiple times. His men did the fanfiction thing rumours (it must be funny for us but not for a woman who didn't like the guy) which lead to her kneeling in front of the king. Was about to get 20 lashes. NH pulled the same trick of hugging her and provoking CGH, leading to king going mad. But why can't she trust him?

I can only say if they dragged this part or not, after completing the drama🤣 if it ends on a good note, I don't mind a bit of dragging in middle part because eventually there comes a dragging part in every drama. So I would rather take it before leads are together. But if last few eps are rushed then I'll definitely say that it dragged in this part. Let's see

The drama is actually doing pretty well in storytelling. They are giving her lines to show what she is doing, why she is doing, they are even showing she has softened but it's the script that scares her. Honestly, i blame people and their inability to not read lines that's said by fl. Also, not recalling everything that ml did to her

Yes! She even reflects that she was harsh on him . Definitely she will have more realisation, I guess after she gets mad at him for identity thing 😂
