What a great episode, even if it was heavy on the tropes/cliches. Is it just me or does this episode look as though it were shot straight to video? It has that American afternoon soap-opera look. Did they run low on money this far into the shoot? Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'm here for both couples. I love both relationships and all the gray area. It's interesting and dramatic.

Licking would be "problematic" and "inappropriate" and possibly rape. Please be sure to get your new BF to sign all the appropriate legal consent forms with each stage of your potential love-making, or you'll be in big trouble with the SJWs here. :D ;)

That's what comes of knowing too much about these actors off-screen. lol I had no idea Tong was as old as he is and he seems perfectly convincing to me as a high-schooler, which is, I think, a tribute to his fine acting. ALL of the actors in this show are doing a really impressive job with the acting. So much subtlety and understatement in the performances. Nice.

WTF? Someone tell me I didn't see what I think I just saw...

I have to say, there is some really fine, subtle acting going on among these young men. Interactions that are so understated but that clearly convey the characters' emotions and motivations. No obnoxious over or just plain bad acting we see in many BLs. Impressed. First couple of episodes had me debating whether or not to keep watching. Glad I did. But if the end of ep 4 indicates what I think it indicates, maybe I won't be so glad.

Wow. That kiss at the end of ep. 3 was epic. Sweet/romantic/sexy and very little hesitation. No mannequin-kissing in this show! It was heartbreaking to watch them slowly come back to reality and to see the instant awkwardness/panic between them The entire scene, including the dancing part, was very well-acted by both actors. I give them great credit for throwing themselves into that smooch and making it so real.

Just one episode in. Gave it a 7. Cute actors. Doesn't seem terrible, but not bowled over either. I like the actor playing student council president. It feels like maybe this is one of those BLs in which pretty much every guy on campus is gay, which takes a lot of reality and opportunity for conflict out of the story for me. We'll see how it goes.

Why wouldn't asexuals or demisexuals want to enjoy a good BL romance/drama with plenty of steamy, questionable sex and wild character behaviors? I watch murder mysteries and sci fi even though I'm neither a murderer or an alien. You seem to struggle with the difference between real life and what you see on a screen. Just because someone in a series gets tied down and has candle wax dripped on them against their will doesn't mean that actually happened in, you know, the actual world.

Just finished watching this for a second time. I was surprisingly bored by much of it, particularly the straight segments, lol, and ended up fast-forwarding to the Korn/Knock scenes and those related to them, such as the parents and the odious PETE. ewww....I felt I was catching social diseases from him just by watching him on my screen.

This time I just wanted to focus on Korn/Knock so that's what I did, even though I love Yiwha and Cho too. Those two kept me watching through a few of their scenes, despite myself. The actress who plays Yiwha is extremely talented, with a great range, able to play heavy drama as convincingly as slapstick comedy. I love her.

In particular, I wanted to say how impressed I was with Max's acting, especially from the pivotal Pete incident and forward...his devastation at his own behavior was palpable; I felt sick at heart and stomach FOR him, just as he did in the story. To see big, confident, sweet, smart Korn so utterly wrecked; pale, sickly, weeping and begging from his very soul was really emotionally powerful and moving for me. I felt his misery at having totally fucked up and there being no way to go back in time and un-do what he had done. ugh. So excellent. Max is a very talented actor, and to me Korn is the overall, all-things-considered hottest, sweetest, kindest, most loving lead in all of BL-dom.

Major props to MaxTul again for totally immersing themselves in the physical/sexual aspects of their roles. No mannequin kissing or awkward high-fives. Especially from Max, but also from Tul, I feel throughout that these two young men truly love and care for each other. Very moving.

I admire this series for GOING THERE in regards to actual, physical, full-on sexual cheating outside of a good relationship and the devastating emotional, mental and even physical suffering that usually comes as a result. I saw characters on screen who were sick in body as well as at heart over what they had done. These characters were real, flawed humans. Sometimes even very good people do really bad things.

I guess I won't be watching this series, as I had completely forgotten about it until I got the notification of your reply to me. I don't know...just didn't interest me. If you don't mind saying, in a nutshell, why are comments about this one so "virulent?" Worse even then the WBL thread?! :D

I'm pretty freaking gay and fairly "actually" homo, so get over yourself with assuming you're in a position to tell people what to like and how to feel about it. Lots of us here don't believe there WAS a rape in H4CTY, so we're not struggling with all the outrage and moral superiority issues on your plate.

I think straight girls who are fascinated by gay male relationships are perfectly fine, entitled to enjoy what they enjoy without being shamed for it, as well as being the only reason there are BLs for you to pretend to be outraged about in the first place. Fujoshis ARE BLs, God love 'em. I love and adore the Fujoshi in H4CTY. She's sweet, kind, friendly and genuinely cares about the gay guys she gets such a kick out of. I wish I had a friend like her.

Lots of straight men LOVE fantasizing about or seeing vids of two women together. Are they morally depraved perverts as well? People like what they like and Fujoshis aren't hurting anyone, except in your mind.

Is it your belief that rape, stalking, murder, robbery, kidnapping, embezzlement, torture, etc.do not happen IRL? Is it your belief that anything that happens IRL should not be fair game for drama? And I don't mean fair game as long as those plot elements are accompanied by a Sunday School lesson on how they violate your moral values. I mean fair game as presented in any way the show makers choose.

If you are after "mature, healthy relationships" for you viewing boredom, I don't know what kind of dramas you're going to find anywhere to watch. Good drama stems from CONFLICT. If everyone is mature and healthy in everything they do, instead of acting like actual humans, your show is going to go nowhere.

Fujoshis, fantasies and yaoi are a huge part of BL. You're watching the wrong genre, silly.

Why would I go cry about it? I watched the whole thing and it didn't make enough of an impression one way or the other on me to bother reacting. YOU are the one above going on about ratings in this and other comments. You didn't answer: why do you watch BLs? I like the darker themes and plots. Much more interesting and sexy. Sex is a thing, you know?

Because, unfortunately, this show gets worse with each ep.

wth do you watch BLs? Aggressive sexual situations, yaoi tropes and stalking ARE BLs. That's why that show you won't say the name of, History 4: Close To You, is doing so great while this show gets worse with each episode. Go watch the Disney Channel.

Yeah, this is like, REALLY BAD Romance. lol Thank god for MaxTul chemistry or there would be nothing good about this thing. Yiwha and Cho are good too, and I liked the side couple Bae and Far, but everything else was atrocious. There is a BL cut of this in 13 eps on Youtube that focuses on only the KornKnock related plot lines but even that is pretty damn bad. By the time we got to the psycho kidnapping plot and the girl with superhuman strength I was fast forwarding through everything except MaxTul scenes that were one on one. I felt bad for them as actors having to perform the god-awful script.

The KornKnock prequel and sequel to this, the Together With Me and Together With Me Next Chapter series are infinitely better than this. You don't have to see this for those two shows to make sense, so consider skipping it altogether.
