I scrolled through the comment section and you seem to be responding to everyone who doesn't like it. Serious…
It's worth noting that I originally stopped watching this series about halfway thru ep. 2. At first I liked the creative camera work and slapstick but then it just seemed to get stupid and the attention seemed to be on the "straight" couple, so I stopped. But just today a friend recommended it so I gave it another chance and was delighted to see some darker themes emerging along with the humor, which I enjoy. And they seem to be pulling off that combination successfully, which is not easy. So my experience seems to be the opposite of what many people's has been with this series.

Flypsyde (Love that spelling btw),I take one issue with the point you make. You asserted that YXS intention for…
Thanks for your thoughtful reply. Of course we can't "know" what someone's intentions are, especially in a fictional series. But that is my opinion on the matter YXS is 30 years old and has been around. He knew how many drinks he was consuming. Based on the fact that me and plenty of people I know have drunk at times for the sole purpose of lowering our inhibitions and having a good time, I think it's exactly why YXS drank so much. His step-bro had dropped SO many hints as to what he was after...if he was concerned that it not happen YXS should have made a point of staying sober so he'd be in control. Instead, he got purposely wasted.

will drunken state make people lost consciousness? its scary ..yeah the scenes is uncomfortable to watched. ..imagine…
Seriously, for your own mental health, wouldn't it be wise to avoid BLs or to at least research them heavily before watching or wait until they've been completely released and you can read comments to get an idea what's in them?

Matter of opinion: I agree the younger step-brother is a stalker, but I don't agree that any rape took place. And even if it WAS rape, so what? this is a fictional presentation of a dramatic comedic story. All kinds of things that don't usually happen IRL are going to happen, some good, some bad. That's what keeps it interesting.

You don't know me either and you can say whatever you want to me. I don't care. My point was to indicate how easy it is to get accused of being a "rape apologist" around here. Lighten up. And if you're that freaked out by the use of the term you shouldn't even be on this chat thread. Your feelings are likely to get hurt.

You love it and you know it. And the "rape" label is very debatable. You don't get to decide and you should put…
It is nobody's business to be giving away major plot points in a comment thread without a spoiler warning. And to this point I haven't see any rape at all. It's a matter of opinion. As for the next ep, all we know is that there appears to be a POSSIBLE rape in the offing, not that it will definitely occur.

Finally, people who are "triggered" by DEPICTIONS of rape and other strong sexual themes should not be watching BLs in the first place.

Most of my comments simply inquire as to why these posters continue to watch BLs, especially once a particular show gets into territory that makes them uncomfortable. I don't think that's an off-beat question to ask. I don't really like thriller movies. I don't hang out on thriller movie chat threads and express my outrage at plot points I don't like. I just don't watch. Simple.

There are many BLs I started to watch, then quit watching. mostly because they were boring or stupid. But I would quit watching also if something inherent to the plot seriously threatened my moral universe.

I think a lot of BL SJW fans totally get off on the material AND their faux outrage. a two-fer!

Oh Danny, you've become angry and bitter, a sure sign of a losing argument. What about my mindset is fucked up? My son is married to his step-sister and I assure you they go out in broad daylight every single day and no one thinks a thing of it. YOU are the one with a fucked up view of the world. Keep your schnoz out of other people's business.

Last question: How does writing on your keyboard cause you to salivate?

Which means you are clearly invested in the story as you interpret it so far, which means you are drawn to it and want to see what happens. that makes you a rape apologist, don't you know? You're raising the ratings of a show you claim to have a problem with. lol Come on...admit it. It won't hurt.

What''s so wrong. They are not blood related.
Well, many, many commenters here do not believe there was any rape at all. It's not as black and white as "rape is rape."

I find the little brother only slightly creepy, in his extreme possessiveness/jealousy of other people around his brother. That needs to be worked on.

I have no problem with them being together.

Can you give me a time stamp to the rape? Usually rape involves a lack of exchanging expressions of deep love…
You're not as clever as you think you are. Is there some show in which one of the characters was presented as an actor doing a scene within a drama inside the story while intoxicated? Or is the actual situation that an actor playing a character in the drama itself was, in fact, drunk as a skunk?

Do I need to go over that for you again?

I just wonder what’s with the female bl writers. Are they frustrated sexually and so this is why they are hung…
I know your type. Accusing female bl writers of being sexually frustrated pretty much reveals your mind-set. Virtue-signaling is letting others know by words you use or things you say or things you wear, etc. that you are morally superior to the madding crowd.

But...how does inbreeding factor in when it is impossible for a gay couple to reproduce? There is zero chance…
They were actually NOT raised together. The ten-year age difference takes care of that argument. One was a teenager while one was just a child. In the scene where the younger brother was ten years old and injured, his older brother was 20 years old already.

I am of the opinion that one would be concerned if the relationship was NOT healthy, and if it is healthy, I would advise everyone else to butt the hell out. People always want to stick their noses into other peoples' business.

Why does the relationship between the STEP brothers disturb you? They are not blood related.
No, Diva, YOU are the one with the problem hang-up about non-existent incest, not me. My son and his step-sister have been married for at least seven years. Can you give me your number so they can call you to find out how sick and twisted their relationship is?

People who are "triggered" (such an over-used term these days) by challenging sexual issues should not be watching BLs. If writers try to avoid everything that triggers somebody, there will be no such thing as drama. Furthermore, could you expand on why you believe the fact that they grew up together makes a future romantic relationship "icky?" That's something we're brain-washed to think, not anything based in fact. My son and his step-sister grew up in the same house for six years before he went to college. Are they "icky?"

I don't agree that anyone was sexually abused by anyone else in this show. If so, those are the most ecstatic moans of pleasure and writhings of participation I have ever seen during a sexual assault. He loved it and he consented by his actions and the conversation preceding the lovemaking. Which takes care of your silly "sick psycho" reference too.

You actually believe we gay people tune in to random BLs to see how to conduct ourselves in sexual situations? Jesus. pretty sure you're wrong.

Rape, murder, robbery, kidnapping, lying deceit and sick psychos have been important elements of dramas for thousands of years. Grow up.

Why do you watch BLs? They are chock-full of such quandries and issues. If you shudder at watching, shouldn't…
So is it YOU who determines what is "right" for the rest of us to see? For instance, I don't think this was rape at all and hope they end up together. So you are "right" and I am "wrong?" No. We have differing opinions.

That I don't know. But I'm feeling H4CTY is getting to be like the stereotypical Thai BLs with the rapings-without-criminal-consequences.…
Because you are complaining about common BL content you claim to not like. So it seems logical that you would be wise to not watch.

I'm not speaking in a legal sense. I'm speaking in a moral/common sense sense. Gay couples can't inbreed. It's not possible. So how can inbreeding as a reason to ban "incest" apply to them?

So do you stop watching when you encounter material you find offensive?

Well, the scene was shot to be considered hot: the takes, the song choice, etc...But BL mainlanders fans still…
Um.....it IS fantasy. You do realize this is a film/tv series, not real, actual life, right?
