I like all the sexual ambiguity and questionable behavior in BLs. Stirs up drama and the audience and that's what it's all about. This comment board is buzzing because of the non-rape rape and for no other reason.

Wait a minute? Your "friend," if she exists, said "yes" to a proposal of sexual intercourse, went through with it, and you think she was raped? Your view of reality is very distorted. I don't care what the guy said or did or how long he cried, she said YES and she is responsible for that action. Does she have sex with everyone who cries in front of her? He "manipulated" her. Oh please, people manipulate each other every day. She is one hundred percent responsible for her choice. To say otherwise is to treat her like a slow-witted child, rather than a full-grown 25 year-old woman. There was no rape here, not even close.

I say "bravo" to everything you wrote, except that I don't see it as a complex incest story at all. They are NOT blood brothers so it is NOT incest. If anything, it's a story about the emotional and intellectual work one who need to do to move into a romantic relationship with a person you grew up with and at one point regarded as a sibling. As the younger brother made clear, from age 10 forward, he never thought of the older as a brother, but as his beloved.

You love it and you know it. And the "rape" label is very debatable. You don't get to decide and you should put a goddam spoiler warning on your comment.

To me that is a compliment to everyone involved in the series.

I just wrote above that I think this series is doing a GREAT job of balancing different moods and wildly disparate subject matter. Works for me.
