I almost finished episode 2, and i love how the ML is already saving the damsel in distress when she was locked in her room. Then, he stands his ground against her family. I love it.
ML in love since beginning. FL realize a little later. Healthy relation throughout
I thought so. I've just started episode 2, and in episode one, there was a scene where the ML seemed to care for the FL when he grabbed her. So I'm guessing maybe he's had feelings for her from the beginning even before she married the SML? In any case, it looks really good so far and fast-paced.
Saying Kdrama or Cdrama would do a better job is so off putting. I love it that Japanese dramas have their own…
Because it's not the culture, it's the skill set and particular knowledge. It's like saying Italy is better at soccer than America. That's not offensive, it's just stating facts. Once again, I'm not saying the Japanese aren't good at dramas. I just mentioned Kdramas and Cdramas because they produce similar content. Therefore, one of them can attempt to pick it up. It's been done before. Just look at Boys Over over Flowers, Meteor Garden, and F4 Thailand, they've all been compared to each other. Is that offensive?
The description looks really good, and it has my Queen of course. So the ML was already in love with her. I wonder if he was around her during those 10 years she was married? Maybe doing things to support her without her knowledge, possibly helping her in past as well?

I also love Japanese dramas and their own particular style. I never said all Japanese dramas would be better as a Kdrama or Cdrama. Just this one. I believe this one missed the mark. Therefore, i believe a Kdrama or Cdrama could do a better job. There are probably some Kdramas and Cdramas that would be better off as a Japanese drama. There's no need to be put off by my comment. It's just my opinion of this drama.
Ah, ok, you already know my definition of a love triangle. You must have come across one of my comments? After he betrayed her, was he still pursuing her? Did the FL give him any chance to weasel his way back in?
If you don't consider someguy obsessed with fl as love triangle, then this drama doesn't have love triangle.
Depends. By definition, a love triangle is a situation in which two people both love a third person, regardless of whether that third person has feelings for one or both. So if he's obsessed with her and pursuing her, then for me, that's a love triangle.
Yes, the real doctor romantic. It's about time they made a medical drama with actual romance. Dr John, Good Doctor, Doctor Stranger, Chocolate, Descendants Of The Sun. They don't make them like they used to.
Yes n no, everyone has first love, and sometimes you broke up, not because you don’t/stop loving each other,…
Ok, fair enough, but we're veering away from my original point. I was led to believe by many in the comments when i asked about love triangles that the FL only has feelings for the ML, but that's certainly false. That's undeniable and not up for debate. So you can imagine I'm going into this expecting what i was told, but instead, i was flooded with ongoing feelings between the FL and SML. As for my other concern about whether the FL is just settling for the ML because he's the next best thing, well, that can be interpreted differently. When I've finished the drama, I'll see how much she likes the ML and her reasoning why she fell for him almost immediately after the SML. Those scenes you mentioned where you believe it's proof she likes him may not be the only interpretation. For example, she says to him to stay inside on her birthday, which can also mean I'm scared of you when you go into a rage, so stay inside. And where was she when he was inside? She was enjoying the company of the SML. So, by your logic, she has feelings for both characters at the same time. Is that really how we see her, having feelings for multiple men? Or is she just looking out for a companion or a friend?

Right, ok, so she never loved the SML. Let's go with that nonsense then😒 There is no different interpretation of her feelings. We can clearly see the evidence she loved and probably still loves the SML throughout both timelines. You don't go all giggly and in a daze every time you're around someone without having any feelings for him. We can see it in her eyes, her actions and her words. Then, immediately after she reluctantly pushes the SML away, she is almost immediately in love with the ML. Why didn't she show any attraction to him previously? And she still didn't like him even after realising he's a good man. It's the timing and her previous actions that aren't convincing me. You were the one who mentioned that Asian drama loves the whole first love scenarios, I'm just confirming what you said in regards to this drama as it goes against the norm for a fantasy romance Cdrama.

Then why don't viewers speak the truth about the relationship between the FL and SML and stop misleading others who haven't watched it? They're trying to sugar coat it to make it out that the ML and FL are destined for each other with no feelings for anyone else except each other. Also this isn't reality, It is an Asian drama, infact It's a historical, romance, fantasy drama, therefore it's expected to have the typical you're my one and only first love destined with you type scenario, or at least having the leads with feelings for each other for the majority of the drama instead of at the end after realising you can't be with the one you love so you have to settle for the next best thing.
