No i don't want to watch it just for the romance, the description looks really good and i like mystery, fantasy and others but for me romance needs to be part of it, it doesn't have to take up the whole drama, but there must be some. But i read some comments that the ML had some affectionate encounters with a couple of female characters, did this happen and did it progress?

When you first fall in love, dopamine, the feel-good brain chemical associated with reward is especially active. That is a mood intensifier, so people feel extremely positive and very appreciated, hence that on cloud nine. I guess it's the same when watching romance dramas.
