Yes, i hated Love Alarm for that reason. I don't mean cheating literally like the FL cheated on him. But wanting a second lead to be with the main lead (usually it's referring to the FL with a SML) then that feels like the audience cheated him. Which feels disrespectful to him.

That's not true, because I've seen some dramas where the SML is evil, toxic, a red flag, and even a criminal, but he'll still be shipped with the FL merely because he's handsome, while the ML is a pure green flag. Shipping is based on appearances and a mix between the bad boy and the caring supportive friend. But anyway, i can't imagine our main leads with anyone except each other. I thought that was just common sense.

In my opinion, no matter the situation, the leads should never be shipped with any second leads unless a main lead cheated on him/her. Once the leads are established, i don't understand the infatuation of shipping the FL with a SML regardless if he's a green flag. That feels like cheating to me and disrespectful to the ML.

I don't mind love triangles, but i find it ridiculous when viewers start shipping the FL with the SML. It's funny because i never see viewers shipping the ML with any SFL's.
