What is wrong with these new short dramas with the romance happening at the end? In the past, they would sort their feelings out around halfway through the drama and become a couple not long after. Now it's been happening in the last couple of episodes. They can still have their misunderstandings, quarrels, and even a breakup, but at least they're together going through trials, interactions, and development. Now, the whole drama is spent on the pre couple phase. I'm a bit disappointed with these new batch of short dramas.
Edit: Currently on episode 9. How is it possible that there's absolutely no progression between them when they've been in this contract relationship since episode 1. Nothing has happened between them. Even the second couple is miles ahead with less screentime and interactions.
Edit: I just finished. After episode 11 it gets better. The last few episodes saved it, but the drama was not done properly. It goes from one extreme to the next. It goes from 11 episodes of absolutely nothing happening to all of sudden they're a happy couple.
They just wanted to show how both can be unreasonable. After watching the first two episodes I feel that it's…
I disagree with her actions in the first episode. No one would put up with that if their partner was having those intimate interactions with her friend. You can't defend her for that. He may also have done silly things in the second episode, but nothing worth breaking up over. Her behaviour is unacceptable, and she would've been dumped if he wasn't a simp.
The first 2 episodes are quite disgusting, honestly. The FL is awful. In the first episode, she hangs out with her male friend more than him and has interactions with her friend, which should only be done with her boyfriend. She even went on a holiday with just him and slept in the same bed with him. Then, in episode 2, she complains when he hangs out with his male friend. Then she says she'll break up with him if he doesn't stop hanging out with him. Smh. I hope she gets better and goes through some serious character development.
Edit: I just finished it. It's average. The first episode was the worst, which destroyed it for me. It got better after that, but it's not worth it. She caused so many problems and misunderstandings that could have been avoided if she were just honest. Then, in the last episode, when he was drafted for military service, she said she would wait for him, but she didn't. They broke up. It had the potential to be good, but her character ruined it.
I thought jiwoong was the main character here omg was i wrong! Also is his character gay here as well?
How could you think Jiwoong is the main character? There's plenty of evidence showing Eojin as the ML. You just have to read the description and look at the cast list.
Awful. I thought it would be a mini Orange Marmalade. I was wrong. It's just reverse harem, and that's it. She flirts with all the guys and somehow ends up with the ML. I feel sorry for the ML. He deserves better.
The comments here just prove nice guys finish last. Everyone here criticises the ML while at the same time praising the bad boy SML. There's even a comment below showing their disappointment realising the SML isn't the ML. It makes no sense because the ML is genuinely a really good guy who's devoted to the FL, but that's still not enough. I support you Song Meo Ru.
She has to find someone to love at some point. Do you want her to be alone forever? Being badass doesn't mean…
Yes, i understand what you're saying, but you're expecting too much from second lead relationships. They won't get the screentime and effort as the main leads. What you're asking for is reserved for the main leads unless it's a long drama, then yes, the second leads will have time to develop their feelings. But this drama was short, so only the main leads were given priority. We can't expect the second leads to have a deep and complex romance story. There's just not enough time for that process, and it will take away the focus from the main leads.
Yes, there's nothing wrong with being alone, but her character was far better off when she was in a relationship as we could see she was happier, less grumpy, and also her lover cured her trauma. Their screentime and interactions were enough for the story. He moved on from the FL and found his own happiness while she had her character development.
Haven’t finished yet but just want to say I’m so disappointed with the way they just forced a romance for…
She has to find someone to love at some point. Do you want her to be alone forever? Being badass doesn't mean she has to be lonely and miserable, stuck in the library all day long. She finally found someone. Enjoy her romance.
I like watching the shows on air (personal opinion) there is something to look forward to for a few weeks, and…
Are you watching other shows while waiting for the next episodes? That can cause confusion, especially if you're watching a similar drama from the same country. You can get scenes mixed up between other dramas. You might even forget certain scenes that happened a week ago. Which is another reason to binge watch. You remember everything clearly, and you're only focusing on one drama.
Now you know why i wait for shows to finish before i start watching. Why would you put yourself through that? The wait between episodes is far worse than the wait for the series to finish. You can't crave more if you don't know what you're missing. Calma, wait, then binge.
I see the ML is dating a woman other than the FL👏 Fantastic. I'm glad we're not dealing with another simp who will avoid all other female characters while devoting his entire life for a woman who may not have any feelings for him, especially if that woman has been freely dating multiple men. See you in October.
Great, that was my main concern before starting this drama. I want to see many interactions between Tae Pyeong and Mi Rae. Then of course, romance between them.
