I've seen her in The Blue Whisper, You Are My Glory, Eternal Love, and Diamond Lover. There are so many others, so what would be her best romance drama in both categories of historical and modern?
Overall good, and it's fast paced romance which makes it better, but some female characters here are awful, especially the FL and her best friend. Both keep mentioning the ML abused her and brought her pain. That doesn't make any sense. That never happened. If anything It's the FL that caused problems in their relationship. She's the reason they broke up. He did nothing wrong. All he ever wanted was to marry her, she just wanted to be friends with benefits, not even his girlfriend. The only decent female character is Shi Qin.
I'm on episode 14, women in this drama(except SQ) are really scary. I can only imagine how the ratings would be…
If the roles were reversed, he would've been crucified in the comments while being labelled as toxic and a red flag. Meanwhile, the FL can do the exact same thing and get away with it. They'll even use her trauma to justify it.
Her friend Chen Zhu is the worst. She would criticise her friends bf to her friend without knowing the truth or the possibility there could be misunderstandings. Do this long enough, and even the gf will start criticising her bf for no reason.
Very good romance drama. It started really well, then became weird when the villain started changing. The ending could've been better. I understand it, and it's not bad, but a different ending would've been a 10 for me. I need more of this FL in romance dramas๐ Stunning.
I don't remember if there's a love triangle, but the odds are there's a SML with feelings for the FL. That's almost certain. Probably no SFL with feelings for the ML because ML's are usually prohibited from having any female characters around him except the FL. Yes, happy ending, i think.
I think it's time to drop on episode 10. It's too slow and boring. I was drawn in by the high rating, but it's not worth that high rating for me. So it seems the majority prefer this slow, slice of life, sports dominated drama. It has some decent romance, but overall, it's not good enough. Definitely NOT a masterpiece 10/10.
Also, the relationship between the senior male badminton player and the woman he likes with the child is ridiculous. She chose to marry and have a child with another man while the whole time knowing he liked her. Then she accepts him years after getting a divorce. She just settled for second best. If things worked out between her ex-husband, she wouldn't be with him. If she really liked him, she would've chosen him from the beginning. If I were him, i wouldn't accept being "the backup" and move on with my life finding someone who really wants to be with me.
Yeah good story and romance, but the scenes were sometimes cut short and it seemed there were missing parts. I thought for once we have a drama where there aren't any SML's with feelings for the FL, but that changed quickly. Still searching for a drama with a SFL with feelings for the ML but no SML's with feelings for the FL.
Yes very good. Ah, the short dramas are just something else. Good romance and surprisingly good intimate scenes and kisses. But why was the ML always half naked but the FL always fully clothed? Not even a glimpse of any skin because she was always in baggy clothing. Does she not have a good body?
Yeah, not bad. A good watch. I'm just trying to remember if there were any female characters except the FL with feelings for the ML. If not, then that's a bit confusing and makes this drama a bit unrealistic.
Overall it was a good watch. But be warned for viewers just starting this expecting romance. It's not a typical romcom. It's more slice of life/family with a side of romance. I was also mislead by the name, poster, and previews thinking it was mostly romcom. Episodes 1-11 is family/life drama. Episodes 12-16 is more romcom. It's a slow burn which will probably frustrate you for a while. It's easier to process if you understand this while not expecting your typical romcom.
Currently on episode 10. It's ok so far. It's more slice of life than romcom. I was hoping it was more romcom judging from the name, poster, and some previews, so a little disappointing in that regard. Hopefully the last quarter is more romcom. But i can't see myself giving this a high rating by the end of it.
I'm on episode 6, and nothing is happening with anything. There's no progression of anything. Nothing's happening with the main leads relationship and even their feelings. We can see he likes her, but nothing from the FL. Then, there are the second leads with the paramedic and the reporter. No progression with their relationship either. Then her reasons for returning home. I know there needs to be some build-up, but this is taking it too far. They need to give us something to keep us interested. When does it change because it's kind of boring at the moment?
