Started well, finished poorly. The only good thing was the romantic interactions. That was fantastic. I loved it. But the rest of it, crap. The story looked good at the start, but then after maybe 20 episodes, around there, it just seemed like a very low-budget show. Even if it is a low budget, some of them do it really well. This one wasn't that good.

Then the worst part was the FL and her stupid actions. One moment she wants to be with him, the next moment she doesn't, and it just keeps going on for stupid reasons. Anyway, I skipped probably about the last 10 episodes. Just wanted to see how it turned out. You want to watch some great chemistry and fantastic erotic interactions, then this is it.

I hope there's romance, or enough for them to be together.

Whether you binge a show or watch it slowly doesn’t change the pacing of the romance. The pacing is defined by how early the characters fall in love in the story.

It reads as a fast-paced romance to me because they fall in love early (fake marriage to true love) and the main plot is about separation and reunion. A slow burn would delay the romance until much later, which doesn’t seem to be the case here.

I absolutely loved this drama. It was fantastic from start to finish. The story setup, the characters, and the overall concept were incredibly engaging.

One of my favorite aspects was the ML secretly hiding his true power while everyone around him believes he’s weak and pathetic. In reality, he’s the most powerful character there, and watching that contrast play out was so satisfying. I also enjoyed the harem, with all these beautiful female characters surrounding him, (finally a change from the usual FL being surrounded by a bunch of guys and getting all the attention, refreshing to see it flipped for once) each believing at first that he’s useless. Then, little by little, they begin to realize the truth about him, which makes the buildup incredibly fun to watch. The moment when everyone finally witnesses his true, god-like power at the end was amazing.

I thought this was the full season, so I was surprised when I realized it’s actually a “to be continued.” Near the end it felt like the story wasn’t quite ready to finish yet, so that makes a lot more sense now.

I really hope they make another season because I’d love to see what happens next, especially now that people know his true strength. I’m also very curious to see how the romance and relationship dynamics develop between the four female characters. Such a great show. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I thought this drama was just ok, not great, but not terrible either. The first 8 episodes or so kept me interested, and I was curious to see where things were going. But from around episode 9 onwards, the love triangle really started to drag. I found myself skipping quite a few scenes, especially the ones between the FL and the SML. That part of the story felt stretched out for way too long. I also agree with a lot of other viewers who said the SML was given too much screen time.

The romance wasn’t particularly strong either. The chemistry between the leads just wasn’t really there for me, which made it harder to stay invested in the story. Usually when a drama starts to frustrate me like that, I end up dropping it. In this case, I didn’t. Maybe that’s because I wasn’t that emotionally invested from the start. I also didn’t realise going in that it would lean so heavily into a love triangle, but I guess I didn’t have high expectations to begin with.

As for the FL, I’ve seen her in a couple of other dramas before and I’ve never really been a fan. It’s not about her acting, I’m sure she’s a good actress, I just don’t really connect with her on screen. She’s obviously pretty, but personally I don’t find her that attractive. She’s very thin, to the point where she sometimes looks a bit unhealthy. That might just be her natural build, so I’m not making any assumptions, but it’s something that stands out to me.

Regarding her interactions with the SML, when she was flirting with him, did she already have feelings for the ML, or were they still at the bickering stage, meaning she didn’t like him yet? Once she began developing feelings for the ML, did she ease off or pull away from the SML?

No, I haven’t watched the drama. I’m only on episode 3. What surprises me is the reaction. We always see SMLs get love, no matter what. They can be kind or an evil character, it doesn’t matter. As long as he’s handsome, he gets love, even if he spends many interactions with the FL. However, SFLs get hate for spending just a little time with the ML, regardless of whether they’re good or evil. That’s it. Nothing personal about this drama. When I get further into the drama and am more invested, I’ll probably feel the same as the other comments and dislike the SML, his character, and his screen time. It’s just that I’m not used to seeing viewers dislike a SML.

I’m so surprised by all the comments hating the love triangle and SML’s involvement. I usually only see this kind of reaction when it’s a SFL involved with the ML, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it for a SML before. It’s so weird. Either he’s a seriously bad SML, not that handsom, or the viewers are mostly male. I just can’t wrap my head around it.

Not the strongest start, but it finished fairly well. I wasn’t fully convinced after the first few episodes, though it became more engaging as the story progressed. The romance was decent, not the most compelling at first, but it improved toward the end. Overall, it’s a solid gumiho drama, though better versions of this concept have certainly been made. The FL is beautiful, despite what some jealous female viewers might say. If there were a ML equivalent, someone not the absolute most handsome but still clearly above average, the audience would be eating him up. Stop the cap.

I'm curious, what's the reason behind it?

I've just completed episode 3. It hasn't really hooked me like many other dramas in this genre. I don't like the FL's character or the story. It’s like they thought we're due for a gumiho drama, so lets just throw something together without giving it much thought. I hope it gets better, but I'm not optimistic.

Very good. It's simple that touches on a bit of everything with many typical Kdrama characteristics. I love it. I'm not concerned about the original book or manhwa or whatever they call it. I'm here to watch a drama, not to read a book or compare it to one.

Episode 6 is just stupid. There’s no way she doesn’t know what’s going on. The scenes are dumb, and she’s even dumber for not getting it.
