I didnt pay attention to the court scenes or the politics at all in the beginning and I started regretting after…
Don’t regret it. Whatever you did at that time, you did what you believed was best in that moment. You acted according to what felt necessary then. Regretting it later isn’t required, because you are not the same person you were back then.

If you skipped some scenes, perhaps they didn’t interest you or you were bored, that’s perfectly fine. That was your reality at the time, and that’s what you needed to feel okay in that moment.

Now, looking back, you might think, "I wish I had done this or that," but that’s your present self speaking, not your past self. It’s a different perspective. So there’s no need for regret.

And if you really want to experience it differently, you can always go back and rewatch from the beginning. Your choices in the past don’t prevent you from enjoying it now.

Past you did the best they could with the information and feelings you had. Don’t punish yourself now with regret. Learn from it, accept it, and move forward.

I've just finished episode 10, it's good so far, but I think I'm gonna start to skip the court scenes, I just find the whole thing is dragging a bit too much now and I'm a bit impatient to to wait any longer. I'm just gonna skip those scenes and mainly focus on the leads story and interactions.

Very light ones with two other male actors, not enough to call them triangles.
Oh, ok. I assumed that because an episode description mentions a female character asking the male lead to pose as her husband, I thought it might be her way of getting closer to him since she has feelings for him.

I thought there's a princess or some noble lady interested in the ML?

What balance are you referring to? Screentime, strength, abilities, martial arts, intelligence, or all of the above? Surely the male lead isn't some incompetent fool that relies on the female lead for everything? I don't believe that.

Oh, ok, so this drama mainly focuses on the FL’s journey. I didn’t realize that, but I’ll still watch it because it looks good. I just hope it doesn’t focus only on her. I want to see the ML’s abilities too, and even have moments where he protects her.

I’m a few episodes in, and it’s going really well. I saw the battle scene where the FL took out all those gambling henchmen, which was impressive. But I’m a bit worried the drama will focus mostly on her. I really hope we also see the ML’s abilities, moments where he steps in, even saving the damsel in distress. I know we live in a world now where women can achieve anything, and that’s totally fine, but there’s nothing wrong with the ML having those heroic moments too. Still… how is it even possible that the FL, a butcher’s daughter with no military training, can fight like that? It’s kind of confusing. Anyway, let’s see how it goes.

A few episodes in, I was a bit unsure where the drama was going. I thought it would mainly focus on dating in the virtual world, but around episode 5 it shifted more toward the relationship and interactions between the ML and FL. That change really improved the show for me and made it much more enjoyable.

At first, it felt a little strange seeing Jisoo as the FL, but after a while I just saw her as the character and not the idol. I’ve seen people criticising her acting, but I don’t really see the issue. As viewers, we’re not acting experts, and to me she did a good enough job and came across as a solid FL. I’d definitely watch her in more romance dramas.

One thing I would have liked is a SFL involved with the ML, not for too long, but enough to create some tension and encourage the FL to act on her feelings. The ML was always the one pursuing her and had already expressed his feelings early on, while the FL stayed more indecisive and unsure. It would’ve been nice to see her get a bit jealous and reach that moment of realising she’s in love with him. That would’ve added some extra fun and shown a different side of her. I thought it was a really good drama

It depends, are you in a relationship while using this device?
I don’t think it’s that simple. Just because it’s “not a real person” doesn’t automatically mean it doesn’t count.

If you’re actively dating and being intimate with something, even if it’s virtual, you’re still investing time, attention, and emotional energy into it. That’s usually the part people consider cheating, not just whether the other side is physically real.

Calling it “just a game” works on the surface, but once it starts replacing or mimicking real relationship dynamics, it’s not really just a game anymore.

I'm halfway through episode 3, and I'm just getting a bit concerned about the interactions between the ML and FL. If they're spending roughly what I believe to be one episode on each date in her virtual reality, then where is there gonna be enough time for her interactions with the ML? Because I've barely seen him. Are they just gonna go through all her dates, and then at the end of the drama, just pair her up with the ML? I mean, I don't get it. Is this what's happening?

If a device like this were real, and you were in a relationship with a boyfriend or girlfriend, would using it be considered cheating?

I thought it was a pretty solid romance overall. I liked the setup, and the dynamic between the ML and FL was really appealing, especially with the whole powerful, almost deity-like ML and the lower-level immortal FL. That kind of pairing always makes things interesting, and for a short series, it was an easy watch.

My main issue was how easily the ML forgave the FL after everything. She kept doubting him and, betrayed his trust more than once, so it felt a bit too quick and easy to just move past all that. I would’ve liked to see a bit more tension there, maybe the ML holding back a bit, and the FL actually having to fight to earn his trust again. It just would’ve made the whole thing feel more satisfying.
