This story sounds like the Bailu drama where she was empress, died, then went back in time. So the leads know each other in the first life. And I'm guessing the FL knows him but never really interacted with him. But i jave a feeling the ML has always liked her but kept his distance because she was married. Is that how the story goes in the first life?

Pretty good overall. The first 13 episodes are a bit slow and drag at times, but it definitely improves after that. The romance and the interactions between the leads are enjoyable, and the FL is very beautiful😍

One thing I noticed, why did the SFL suddenly become more attractive right after her divorce? Her hair, makeup, fashion, and overall presence all changed almost instantly. It felt less like natural character development and more like deliberate visual framing. The makeover right after the divorce comes across as narrative manipulation, using aesthetics to subtly signal that the marriage was “wrong” and her potential new relationship is the “right” one.

It's ok. I never expected that ending. I would've rated it higher if it turned out differently. And it could've. There was no need to end it like that.
