I must say that this story will be one of my favorites and let me list why is that:
1) Let's start with the MC, like the title suggest they meet by chance and constant chance encounters bind them together. Their story is the most beautiful and the purest. It will clean your taste buds. They meet, they slowly fall in love and they don't avoid or deny their feelings. There are parts of confusion but never did they try to run away from their own emotions. As their story progress there will be no major ups and downs and why is that? Because they show that good communication, trust and care is the key to the good and fulfilling relationship. The have moments of jealousy, they sulk from time to time, there are the moments of anger but this will never turn into a major misunderstanding (what I hate in many other dramas and novels) because they ask questions and they give answers, true and honest.
Really refreshing, a feast to the eyes and hearts <3 .
2) All the side characters and side couples have enough time to develop their feelings, we have full story of what, when how and why? There is no plot holes. But one of the best thing is that while the MC have quite of a smooth sailing the side couples don't have it that easy. We can see more problems here and I personally love this as I can have my beautiful and lovely story in the form of AePete but still I'm aware that world is not all flowers so we can meet this thorns in the other side stories. And yes they don't always end they way we hope for.
3) Physical side of the story doesn't end on just a kiss or holding hands but... on the other hand its not the most important thing in their lives. I love this balance between mental and physical needs.
4) Chemistry beetwen all the couples! Truly amazing!
5) When you'll finish this series you'll feel happy and satisfied but still hungry for more :) . This way I know that I'll watch this again and again and again probably as I wait for season 2 ;) .

I've picked up this series because of the reviews and great comments about it and I must say that I did like it a lot!
But it wasn't exactly what I expected.
Now let me tell you why:
First episode will shock you out of your mind and then you'll be expecting that things will kind of go in this direction... but no... It will not...
Let's talk about MC : Korn is well aware of his feelings and he know what he wants, he's a very good person and so he's not so self absorbed to put himself as the most important person, he respects feelings and problems that Knock is facing. He's honest about his love for Knock but he doesn't push himself on him.
Knock is a hard nut to crack. He's having a very hard time understanding himself. Plus he's quite easily swayed as he trust some wrong people along the way. Sometimes I would get frustrated by his indecisiveness but then looking from his perspective I can understand how hard this must be for him.
This drama portrays budding love off Korn and Knock in the accompaniment of amazing group of friends that face problems together while carrying and helping each other.
But their relationship is not like most of the BL I've seen... It's more like a path to accept reality the way it is. Them getting really together is not imminent . It's a long path with many turns.
Their relationship as a couple was not easy to come true and so I hope they'll cherish it.
When it comes to acting its honesty really good! And I mean all the actors, not only MC's. This friendship I've seen in this drama made me so envious, it looked so genuine.
Chemistry .... oh when I had a chance to see some more intimate scenes my face was burning... So hot!!!

Over all this series is showing male x male relationship from a little different perspective and shows some other problem that couples can face and I really appreciate it.

Reccomend to watch.

I fell in love with this story.
I love the script and the execution. It's a very well directed series.
We start with a very light hearted story of a dead young man that has no idea why he didn't reincarnated while he idly spends his days with his two (hilarious) ghost friends on the cemetery. His days are very boring and basically one day is no different from the other as no-one ever visits him.... not until one day around 12 years later when a cute boy decide to burn the incense and gift some sweets to him. The boy visits him every year and Mes has this weird feeling that the boy actually can see and hear him...
Even if they met early on we need to wait a few years for their story to really start.
Their story is so beautiful... Together they learn what true emotions are and they grow as "humans" together, while motivating each others development. As the plot progress so do their feelings. What we see in this series are pure emotions, there is not much of the physical aspect (Mes is a ghost and so he can't really touch Thun) but Ladies and Gentlemen do not be turned off by this, there is still a few moments of closeness that will make you cry sweet tears and will melt your hearts!
This beautiful romantic relationship is accompanied by the mystery of Mes's death which is another main plot to this drama. There is so many questions along the way but we need to be patient as everything will be answered with time.
Music is a big part of this series and we're not talking about typical cheerful bl soundtrack wit a hint of melo, what we have here are beautiful songs with a meaningful lyrics. I plan to download this songs!!!!
As a gratis to this package we have Thun's friends. I love their relationships and how they love and support each other while being true to themselves. We love 3 dimensional characters! They have some problems and a few arguments but they can fix them well.

I saw some people saying there's no chemistry between Thun and Mes and I can't agree with this statement. I think that their opinion was formed because of the lack of physicality (and yes closeness is a very important part of the relationship!) and even I sometimes was like "I wish they could hold hands" or "oh I want them to sleep while hugging" etc. but unfortunately it's impossible in that case. But the way they smile or look at each other is veryyyyyy satisfying for my love cravings!!!

The only part that I am not fully satisfied is the ending. Which is good don't misunderstand me! (I love HE!!!!) I just had a secret hope that fate somehow will be able to change fake to real.... I had a few ideas but I won't say as I don't want to spoil the ending too much <3

I was kind of unsure if I want to watch this series... this huge age gap and the daughter... I didn't know if they'll be able to pull it off...
I had no reasons to worry!
This is not your typical BL drama. It might be sweet and cute but the relationship itself is quite unusual.
Drama concentrate mostly on Shi Yi Jie and Fei Sheng Zhe relationship. There is a "side couple" but they have hardly any time to develop their relationship, from my perspective their job is mostly to ease some tension when problems show up and bring some laugh as they tend to behave quite funny and chaotically .
FSZ is a warm person, very loving and considerate but quite unconfident and scared as he went thru some hard moments in the past.
SYJ is quite a lost person... messy, unorganized and very lonely. He loves his daughter but he doesn't know how to be a father (there is another reason to his behavior, watch if u want to know :P ) and so he tends to bury himself under the mountain of books.
SYJ somehow meets FSZ that shows him how lonely and lost he was all this time, FSZ points out for him his faults and mistakes while showering him with warmth...
What I love is that SYJ doesn't need anyone to tell him about his own feelings and he doesn't need no-ones assurance, when he finds out he wants this boy to stay by his side he is not shy, he faces FSZ and express his feelings in the honest and straightforward way. He knows how world works but he want to be brave for the one he loves and he doesn't want to hide, he wants a normal relationship.
There are pros and cons to this relationship and the age gap (12 years), SYJ has more experience in life situations and he doesn't get lost or confused, he knows what is needed in the stable relationship (I always have problem with this in dramas as characters tends to assume a lot of things, easy get swayed by others or just don't open their mouth to ask questions that would make their life easier and would fix mont of the problems), SYJ wouldn't let anything and anyone go in-between of them, he fixes avery problem systematically so FSZ would not feel hurt and so their relationship can progress.
FSZ ... what to say? He my looks like an adult and he is quite a responsible boy but when they meet he is only 19... VERY YOUNG... he is scared and he makes mistakes as he doesn't know how to proceed with this relationship. Everything is new to him and he's just a young unexperienced man... He is so lucky that he met SYJ that is patient enough to teach him... If this was relationship between two 19 y.o. guys they would have broken up long time ago.

I fully recommend this series as the topics it touches (marriage, trust, children, problems growing up as a gay, hard childhood) are very important and I think we should have more dramas/movies like this.
Yes this series is too short to give us in-depth exposure of this topics but the way it's touching them here is very well done, brief but with a taste. All I could wish fore is more time for them to explore...

Well written and well directed series! Good acting ! Even You You was such a good girl!!!

It was such a pleased experience I'm sure I'll be back for more!

Is this a perfect series? No. But it doesn’t mean it’s not an amazing drama.
This series is just like the relationship it’s talking about, it’s not ideal, it has its weak points but it has many strengths that overtake this tiny imperfections.
Now let me talk in detail what can Sotus S offer you.
-Acting - Singto and Krist didn’t surprise us much... they’re just so talented! Amazing actors! We couldn’t expect less, we actually got more! Krist really became Arthit, awkward, easily embarrassed young adult that pose to be strong and cool but actually is soft and lovely boy that is more than happy receiving all the love and attention from Kong. This slight smiles, this emotions that he tries to hide.... so adorable. He changes along the way, he grows up to be more sensible, stronger and wiser. But it takes him time.
Singto. Let me tell you he is one of the most talented actors I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how to contain all my compliments as not to overwrite. He has so many faces in this series: he’s a head hazer, a student, a senior, a friend, an intern and last but not the least a lover. Every single of this positions makes him show us differed side of his. His performance is superb, I can’t skip his crying scene... he’ll break your heart... prepare yourself, his emotion will hit you haaaaard!
-Production - pretty noticeable they’ve got more sponsoring. Better outfits, nice locations you can easily spot how different season 2 is from season 1. Everything is on bigger scale but it’s not overwhelming. I very much enjoyed to see more and better clothes on Krist&Singto ?. Watching Sotus I really wanted to buy another pants for Arthit... seeing him all this time in this baggy jeans I wanted to kill the stylist, but I understood that money are needed to have many outfits and they had many actors to take care of.
-Story - why is Sotus S (following Sotus) so different from other series? There if a few things to point out here. First off all what I love in both of this series is that we do not have this major misunderstandings. Problems and misconceptions happens but they’re fixed pretty fast. What we get to learn from this drama is that good communication is the most important thing in a relationship (not necessary in a romantic relationship but in any type), that sometimes we need to reach to people ourselves and not just wait, this way we’ll be able to fix many things.
We meet a few problems along the way and this problems will able Kong&Arthit to deepen their relationship, to understand their problems, pains and needs this way they’ll be able to grow up as people and as lovers.
Kong&Arthit’s relationship is not open to us viewers, we just see the top of the iceberg , they don’t let us to eavesdrop and peep on them too much, they are very privet. Sometimes I was like “please can we have more? Maybe another hug or at last can you hold hands?", from time to time I was hoping for Kong to be more than just being flirty and taken some actions... but after some thought I realized that it wouldn't fit the story, that it would be awkward. This rare moments of intimacy between them were just more precious because they were so spare. But they couldn’t be more perfect than this as they were just so heartwarming.
We do have some side couples but they don’t gat too much of a screen time and I must admit that I really liked it that way. We do get to see them and witness their stories, understand their characters but they don’t overtake the place of the main couple. This way we had enough time to develop the story of Kong&Arthit.
- Soundtrack- not much to say but we have two pieces sang by Krist and Singto ?.... really nice!!!
There are some things that I would like to see in this series and I find them missing but this doesn’t make this series worse, it’s still very very satisfying!
Personally I would love to see more of Kong&Arthit relationship with other people and their families.

This series talks about many important issues. How to communicate and understand other people. How to be more sensitive to needs and feelings of another. How to make the best out of your time when you still have it as working life and student life is very different. How to cherish our friends and people we love and how to care for them. How to face problems, take responsibilities and be brave.

Maybe it’s not a series for every person, but if you’ll have an open heart and open eyes&ears you’ll gain a lot from this experience.

I’ll definitely rewatch.

(Ps it took me half a year to be ready to watch second season as I was worrying I will be disappointed because first season was so good. I’ve read some comments and heard some informations about the "misunderstandings" and was so stressed... I shouldn’t have...)

On a way to perfection

I don't know where to start as my head is full of emotions, yes that was an emotional roller coster (btw I love roller coasters and so I'm definitely in love with this one!!!)
It starts slowly and it is itself a slow brewing series. Everything is slowly unfolding and we have so many details to pay attention to but it's such a pleasure to keep guessing this riddle every single episode.
When it comes to the plot I'll just say the it's a love story, the most beautiful one. Eternal and faithful, the love that can cross the time and the memories that should be the one that created it, pure and stubborn love, everything else is impossible to explain, just watch it!
Let me talk about the actors. It's my first time meeting Alice and Greg but I already had a pleasure of seeing Patrick. I am mind-blown by their acting ! Especially Greg, he definitely had a hard nut to crack as he had so many of himself to act as (can I just insert here a very random thought? - I loved this tiny LGBT+ moment, so cute, so pure, so brave and so sad in the end..." ). He is hella talented, what I loved about his acting was not only how he portrayed Li Zi Wei / Wang Quan Sheng (which I love sooo much, their bright personality, their clear heart and honest character along with the stubborn love that they were brave enough to pursue) but how he shown us their every emotion thru his eyes and his facial expressions. I could see how much he struggled, how much he was in pain, how happy or in love he was, that was Li Zi Wei / Wang Quan Sheng not Greg Hsu anymore.
Alice was amazing too, you know how talented she is when she brings so many emotions depending who she's porting at the moment. She can make you angry, sad, frustrated, happy, envious and many more, with her and Greg you'll go thru the kaleidoscope of emotions.
Maybe Patric didn't have such an extreme challenge like Greg and Alice but his character is not less liked by me, without our Mo Jun Jie this series wouldn't be able to connect, he is as important as Zi Wei and Yu Quan. BTW Zi Wei and Jun Jie friendship is definitely goals!!!
For the first time I'll talk about music... I want to say that this ost is already on my mac and iPhone and my family is already throwing me side glances as they have enough of "someday or one day" - which I'm obsessed with. But truthfully
it's hard to choose the best song as all of they were just so good plus so well matched with the drama!

If you don't know if you want to start it, then just start watching already! But you will not be able to have your easy drama with a simple plot, to have all the answers you'll need to wait all the way thru 13 episodes, but isn't it the best recommendation? Just go for it!!!!

I'll talk about few different points of this drama:
1) Handsome guys alert !!! This series is full of variety of handsome guys... all the cast is really good looking. Actually both male and female.
If we're to talk about MC's: Phana is the quintessence of good looking, fit, smart, rich and loyal man...
Wayo looks gentle and more on the feminine side but his character is not exactly so. He can't speak softly and he's very stubborn, he has a hard time expressing himself and so a lot of complications show on the way to their "relationship".
I love all the relationships and ships here and what I actually love the most are friendship goals! Wayo & Ming, Phana&Kit&Beam all of them support and cheer for each other while trying to deal with their own love "problems".
2) This series concentrate mainly on Phana&Wayo, you'll have a little bit of other couples but actually mostly in the last few episodes. But this doesn't mean it's a bad thing. On the other hand we have more time to understand out MC's, their perspectives and their feelings. We get to know their stories more in-depth with flashbacks that will explain many things along the way. Plus they're are so sweet...
Their story is more sweet than serious. It's like a blooming flower of the romance... it's just the beginning so do not expect any steamy situations... But the amount of sweetness and cutes and love will compensate everything!!! Their story is just to sweet.... I think i got some cavities now...
3) Scenography... this series must've had some good sponsoring... beautiful locations, nice cars, nice clothes... really there is some things to look at...
And yes of course we can always say" the could have do this or that...", "It's missing this or that".... True... I have a few things I wish I saw in this drama but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the show! I actually loved it !!! Less doesn't necessary mean bad.

Lovely and bright. Perfect medicine for a rainy day <3

It will not be a long review I'll just point what is great about this series.
1) Great cast. Really nice chemistry between all the side couples, main couple and friends. There is no unbearable annoying or dumb characters. We have a villain but even she is not the vocal point of this series and we won't see her on the screen that often. I like this balance. We meet many characters and we learn about them and their stories along the way but they don't overshadow ZX and ZFZ.
2) I like how we can observe the growth of ZX&ZFZ relationship, we can see every stage clearly meeting-curiosity-the birth of the feeling-courting-dating-spiting-heartbreak-rebonding and also facing their fears-marriage. Along the way they grow as a couple and as a people but they stay true to themselves and their characters. I feel that even thou it is a fluffy and bright drama we have many truths about dating and being in a relationship here.
3) I love how this series touched a few very important topics.
- cheating
- prejudice against woman (that they should not be too forward as they would look like they are "easy")
- mental health
- divorce and familial problems
We should have more of this topics in dramas. I love how their flowery relationship and cheerful friendships were able to balance this heavy topics and so this drama didn't feel gloomy but still those problems were't taken lightly and so they felt reliable.

It was a pleasure to watch this series. Was it the best series? No. But I didn't need it to be so. There is nothing that is perfect in this world and so even more I don't expect this series to be so. I had a good time and I didn't have any cringe/frustrated moments that I felt like I want to turn off my laptop. I had a smile for most of the time on my face. This drama made me happy. So if you feel like you need some sunshine in your life I recommend this series.

Smiley series

This series concept is nothing new. Poor girl, rich man because of some circumstances they are made to cooperate together and then eventual cohabit.
I love the concept of him being violin producer and her fighting hard to become a voice actor! I just wish they've shown us a little bit more of this sides of them, and yes, we do know their passions and dreams but it would be nice to show us some in-depth, bts of how they reached it (when it comes to Ye ShuWei) and how much work and effort it takes to make a violin and when it comes to Bei ErDuo I wanted to see more than just a few japanese books, and her saying "Ohayo Gozaimasu" during her course or just standing in the booth recording. It's not that it was bad! Do not misunderstand me! I just think this professions are not so well known (especially Ye ShuWei's) and so I think it would be great to put some emphasis on them.
What I really enjoyed about this drama are all of the characters (maybe I would just exclude ErDuo's mother. She was annoying and beyond unreasonable! Grrrrr) Bei ErDuo is a normal girl with a dream and a plan for her future, she might not be a genius but she is smart, brave and kind (in the right proportions), she might be a little bit loud in the first few episodes but then you'll notice she is not the infantile, silly FL we often get in this kind of series. She is responsible and she knows how to use her brain, she will not get easily swayed, she will believe the person by her side and her own heart rather than unrelated people. What I really was happy about is that she: can cook, can clean, can take care of a sick person, can study, can work in a normal part-time job. God bless the screenwriter! A normal human being! I'm so tired of this girls in dramas being all silly and useless!
Ye ShuWei might be a little bit cold at the beginning but he will learn too, do not worry ! He is a very confident and quiet person but a very caring a the same time. When he notices that he enjoys this girl's company he do not run away, do not get cold or he don't get excessively possessive he slowly and gradually learn about her, try to understand her and learn how to take care of her and make her happy. He is not fickle! He wants for her to feel secure and he never let other people get between them! We need more characters like this. They both look after each other. Really sweet.
Let me say a few words about side characters. I will not spoil so I won't get in details but be prepared! Side story is soooooo good and I personally love the outcome. We love smart, confident people that know how and what to prioritize. This story was a really big surprise to me but a good one!
I can see the unused potential in this drama, their professions, the competition all of this was just an empty shell without much contribution to the series it was necessary because of the plot but I really wished they would show us something more.
Music ?? Didn't notice anything special or mind-blowing but nothing bothered me so I would say acceptable.
Locations and sets ... Let me tell you you'll want to live in Ye ShuWei's workshop, I almost loved it more than his real house (which was amazing too). Plus can I have his car?? Please <3 .....
Clothes ... I liked them, I find that the styles really fitted perfectly with characters and at the same time looked really good on the actors. With Riley Wang 182 cm this suits were just the icing on the cake !!! Such an eye candy <3 .
All together I think it's an easy and enjoyable series that you'll not feel frustrated with but you'll smile a lot.

In this case not "small" but "short" ;)
This series is so short, even episodes are short, just barely ten or so minutes long and that is the only minus I could list against this drama.
I thing that casting was just perfect, I was so surprised about the quality of acting, especially Xu Tao's and Edward Chen's, the way they conveyed all the emotions just shook me. I was so impressed with Edward, he had a hard nut to crack as he was the one that found himself falling for this clingy boy, as an honest but not really open teenager he made my heart warm with his awkward but sweet answers. I love how he never denied anything and he was serious about his love the same way he was serious about everything in his life and he took responsibilities for his every decision. He might have committed a few mistakes but he never denied them. I'm so happy he stayed true to himself in the end. Such a faithful lover is the dream of every person.
The story might be a little bit confusing in the first 2-3 episodes but do not worry there is a closure to everything and the ending is worth every single minute spend watching this series!
Story might be quite simple but we can not expect much more because this series is so short. But execution and simple but satisfying plot line full of meaningful messages will leave u full and satisfied after completing the drama.
I love how they try to bring our attention to problems of bullying and depression, the fact that sometimes even if people ask for help unfortunately are left alone ignored and this should change!
I'm so happy that Xiang Wan and Zhi Chen show us that our life is in our hands and we are in charge of every decision and so we should grab our chance for happiness ! It doesn't matter how old we are, we can still have a chance for a fresh start!

At first I didn't know what to expect... But the first scene took me by surprise... Honestly it wasn't anything incredible when it comes to the special effect etc. but just the first time main characters met, the first time they looked at each other... there was no words between them, just this single eye exchange and I just knew this will be a gem !
And oh boy was I right!
The plot is really good, very smooth and not forced. Their relationship progressed smoothy and everything was logical and so was the growth of their emotions. You can slowly notice this little signs of budding love.
But I won't spoil hehe :D
What I really hate and fear and always try to avoid in dramas are crazy misunderstanding and problems created from nothing just to put tension on MCs... If you hate it too do not be afraid my dear friend as this drama is one that value the peace of your heart <3 !
God Bless the actors as they're just perfect for this roles and their chemistry will make you feel like this short 8 episode drama is a blasphemy.
WE NEED MORE!!!
Highly recommend to watch!!!!
