Overhyped. Overrated

I don’t understand all the ravings it got from people here. I found the plot twists, character behavior and acting terrible and yes ridiculous. The “I love you” yelling at each other is ridiculously executed, no feelings, an ill attempt to sound romantic and comical and just contrived like watching a high school drama play. The male lead is supposedly the highest paid actor - oh wow! What a joke. For him to earn so much for such shallow, robotic acting? The female lead portrayal of an anti social is exaggerated, unrealistic and Overdone. This is an over hyped and overrated kdrama and probably rated bec the leads are celebrities. Don’t waste you time.

Slow, almost depressing melodrama

I question the standard (moral and ethical) that this drama upholds. The wiretapping is an invasion of privacy but was justified by the story bec of the female lead’s intent (?). The male lead, a married man at that running after a young woman and allowing himself to be emotionally involved speaks of emotional adultery. And “failure”’is almost celebrated; yet the brothers are defensive about being failures - got confused there. And while not a justification for cheating, ‘family’ became a reason for marital problems, and this was just dismissed.

Terrible characterization; unrealistic plot line ; one dimensional acting

One of the worst kdramas I have ever seen. I hatedthe female lead who was afraid for all throughout the 40 episodes; the ridiculousness of storyline -complete face change in a month and surgery with no swollen mess at least! So unrealistic. The coincidences are unbelievable; the actor who portrayed the husband has only one expression - angry and trying hard to look intense; the surgeon who looks like gay - I thought that’s what he was at first a gay surgeon. The character s are all one dimensional. The ost was soooo bad- felt like the 70’s music overly dramatic and so oldies. Don’t waste your time on this. I’m being kind with a half star rating.

Convoluted storyline

If there’s one thing that is really a big turn off to me is the love story between the mother and son which evolved into romance. Incestuous and just plain yikes to me. Not to mention how many times I got lost with continuity, character timeline and who they are at certain scenarios. Very difficult to follow storyline, and many times I ask myself what the heck is the conflict In The first place. So many loopholes and illogical turn of story. Don’t waste ur time on this. I just like the acting of the main lead and the supporting characters. Some scenes have funny script. The female lead looks old to me; is t credible as a scholarly scientist and did one dimensional acting.
