One of the best things about Pinoy BL is that the actors have normal bodies. Trust me I LOVE seeing a nice sculpted body, but in real life I'd have more chance with these Pinoy body types. Makes them so much more accessible to us human folk.
3 (or is it 6) episodes in and this one is not for me. Lead character is so over the top and acting so bad that I cannot stomach it. The ridiculous set-up for living in the warehouse - which looks nicer than many apartments - and his "boss" moving in were just too much. Like the other couple and their 20 year old history, but not much going on in that pairing yet and I don't have the patience to wait 10 more (or is it 5 more) episodes for something to happen. Not horrible, but just not my cup of tea. Enjoy.
I had issues with this one from the beginning, got enamored with the leads and their love story in the middle enough to forget my qualms, but they all appeared again in the end as they did a poor job of tying the story up, neglected to give us the complete backstory, and then pulled the old switch-aroo. It was all a dream. REALLY? A mediocre effort. A good idea not fully baked. Strong performances raise it up a little. But I won't watch again, nor recommend.
Love the premise. Love a different take on BL. Perfect for social commentary, which was handled okay but could have been much better overall. Not sure they needed to be as violent and gory as they were. Grateful they let the boys wash the blood off themselves before they made love on the rooftop. The gratuitous sex scenes COULD have been okay, if they put them in the context of "the world is ending and we're going wild" - but it just seemed like they threw them in for titillation purposes. Liked the brother story and especially the Auntie they befriended. Wish she could have stayed around longer. Art was good, but Best was out of his league, I think. They needed a much stronger actor in that role. One who could actually cry when called upon - and he fake cries A LOT. It was a bit all over the place and the pacing was very slow. I didn't hate it but I wouldn't recommend it.
Since this particular plot point came so early in the show, I am guessing that the controversy of a workplace…
Does this story have problems, yes. Is it a fantasy? Of course. It's fiction. All fiction is fantasy. It's a rom com. Are they doing this to disparage Korean people? Absolutely not. No single fictional character is ever meant to represent an entire country's people. Would this have been better if they addressed the workplace issues and imbalance of power. Sure. But that would have been an entirely different show. One that was ABOUT power. Not a rom com.
But please let's not make it a cultural issue. "it's not USA that they could just get a supprt by their parents and have a lot of opportunities". Ummmm... not EVERY kid in the USA gets supported by their parents. (I didn't) And not every kid has a lot of opportunities. - People in US need their jobs too. 38 Million people live below the poverty level there, work multiple jobs to make ends meet.
Broad generalizations like this don't help your argument.
Of course I'll watch, but not a fan of these mash-ups and obvious fan-service series. That said, some of my favorite characters from series past, so I'll hope for the best.

I don't HATE what Phuwin is doing here, but I would say it's one of his weaker performances (and I've been a fan since "Cause You're My Boy"). I think he needs stronger direction.
I think we're dealing with a production crew where everybody flattered everyone else into thinking this series…
I see this in BL all the time. People meet, then there's a time cut and they are all at dinner and eating (so obviously they've had time to serve the meal) and then finally someone says, "Oh by the way this is my invisible friend" It's absolutely ridiculous. Shows these BL writers are not in touch with reality at all.
