With regards to your No 1 summary the illusion scene of LJ and YWH was set 150 years from present day while the illusion seen of LS and LWY (Starstone still a stone) is set 1000 years from present day. So it means LJ and YWH are meeting Star stone guy 850 yrs later after the events in LS and LWY scene not a hundred years later.

If you remember when a member of shillings sect was telling dragon diety that the butterfly demon looks like Li Jie. And the dragon diety was unconcerned and responded that demons can use an item of a human to become like them.

I believe Ji Ling is the younger brother of Li Jie but not his blood brother. He is a blind fox who was found by either Li Jie or the original dragon diety. Probably Li Jie killed the original dragon diety and fed the essence to Ji Ling. Yuan Wuhuo is just a demon who took on the likeness of Li Jie. So in this illusion Li Jie is living Ji Ling’s memories while the demon is living as Li Jie.

I agree with you. There is only one person born who looks like Li Jie. The other look alike which is the butterfly demon probably took his face for some reason as explained by Dragon diety. Then Ji ling\Chi wen is the younger brother of Li Jie which is why he had tears in his eyes when Li Jie was explaining that he forgot his memories.
