I agreed with everything you said up until the end. I don't think Mnet actually wants Hui due to his age, and I feel like they've portrayed Gunwook as kind of vain and bossy regardless of whether or not he's actually like that. The part where they tried to make Hui keep wearing the headdress in particular seemed like an attempt to hurt him with global voters, but maybe that's just me.

Based on how the results are shaping up so far, who do you all think will be hurt the most when voting switches to a one pick system? There's always those contestants in these shows that everyone likes well enough but whose support falls sharply when one picks come around, due to them being well regarded but not common first choices. Gyuvin is kind of giving me that vibe so far, but I could be totally wrong since it's still early.

Whoever controls the editing controls a lot of who ends up in the final group. Mnet may not be openly rigging the results anymore, but they still give certain trainees exponentially more time and exposure than others. Some of the contestants only had seconds of total screen time. Unfortunately that's not new, but with the increased unfairness of the K vs G system, it screws certain contestants over completely.

The K vs G thing is unfair by design. This is Mnet we're talking about here, and for all the years of talk of "global" idol groups, it seems like the industry doesn't really believe in such a thing yet.

I just want him in because he's talented and produces bops that would be good for the group. It seems to me like the people criticizing him for having fans have no issue voting for contestants who can't even sing or dance. Like what are we doing here?

People just like to hate on him. People on his discord were being problematic, not him, and he's one of the best vocalists on the show at a time when 4th gen groups are seriously lacking in vocalists. I keep seeing accusations of racism towards him but the only racist comments I've actually seen have been about him.

The same people hating on him are the ones who call Hui a hag. If they have their way, we'll have nothing but visuals with mediocre skills in the debut group. No thanks.

If it's true that they're cutting stuff to appease homophobes, then I hope we can see that content at some point in the future. Haters are going to hate it no matter how much they cut. And they could also just...not watch. If your religious beliefs make you hate entire groups of people that have never even wronged you, then you're doing it wrong.

Where are people hearing that they're censoring stuff now?

So apparently the protests against Wavve over this show are bad enough that we're being limited to 1 episode per week again. Changmin even apologized for being gay on Instagram. Homophobes are the worst.

I knew Changyu had to be protected from the moment he got upset that Seonyul and the others didn't recognize his candy vest. 😂

I feel like he's probably an ambivert. Doing web shows with like minded people isn't the same as meeting new people face to face for potentially romantic relationships. He might just be the kind of person who lets others make the first move but opens up quickly.

Ugh I don't want to wait 4 more days. Does anyone know if 2 episodes per week will be the norm from now on?

I liked it more than I was expecting to. I was already familiar with Changmin from instagram and youtube, and I hope he can find someone. Changyu and Jeonghyeon are so cute, I hope they don't fight over him, lol. Eunchan was a whole mood, Hyeokjun is handsome and seems to have a warm personality, and of course we stan men who can cook, so Seonyul is good too. I guess I like everyone.

This show is what happens when gays don't communicate, lol.

I mean, he kind of gave him one. He thinks Seojoon is too self centered and incapable of changing, and he felt lonely during their relationship whereas it wasn't that way with his past ex.

Anyone else notice though that Seojoon immediately started being more considerate and helpful around the village after that, whereas Jiwoo stayed being stubborn and evasive? The elderly villagers even pointed out that at least Seojoon is bringing them business, while Jiwoo refuses to even change anything about his restaurant. It might be like Jiwoo said about himself, that he is the problem.

As long as it's not non consensual stuff...

Is that a good or a bad thing though?
