Title A Journey to Love Spoiler
It would be batter if last scene cast by He Lan Dou (Princess Yang Ying) not Chen Hao Yu (Chu Yue)
This is debatable. I'd have liked to see Yang Ying in the last episodes together with her regent Li Tongguang and probable family with imperial child, too, but Chu Yue was the true survivor of those who took active part in the last battle, and whereas Yang Ying had moved on from her second love, Chu Yue was still mourning her only one, Yu Shisan.
So the vision in the end makes sense whether it is a fantasy or not (as some commenters pointed out, Ren Ruyi and Ning had absorbed so much magic potion to heal all wounds and poisons, and she had faked her death already two times, so .... hadn't they become immortals? up to viewers to think one way or the other.)

All those characters were so good, and the friendship outlasted the filming : it was nice to see LYN and Alen Fang enjoy a day out on the banks of the lake in Hangzhou in January, joking together....

Lin Lin is Xiaodong's on and off girlfriend. You meant Lin Yiyang - no family ties to the other girl. Let's just…
My mistake. I went back to listen to dialogue, and found I had misheard. What the sister said was "Lin Lin beat him (MXD) with a brick when they were young. It's this Lin Yiyang who came to deliver the medical fees."
It did not really make sense to me that LL would take violent action against MXD, when LYY always had said he had been wild.
Thank you for clearing up totally my misunderstanding ; I think now that you read it and explained it well: everything came from MXD being hurt by mistake.
Why the sister should blame LYY who had not hurt MXD by mistake or not, but come to help with medical fees, is even more bizarre now, unless she meant that LYY had instigated LLto hurt MXD, but we know that was not the case. Perhaps we shall hear more about that story later, if it is important for future development. :)

Looks like that to me. LYY was 27 in Finland so brother minus 6 years equals 21 years old. His wife may have been…
China is not (and actually has seldom been) that rigid on rules.
You'd be surprised if you went there.
It is a huge country with a lot of regulations, but what is foremost is to remember common sense, patience and compromise, being duly respectful, positive, and not "hurt the feelings of the Chinese people".

but that would not make sense, either for LL being MXD pursuer or for the argument against LYY who can't be her brother. The wild one was supposed to be young LYY.
- That said, I am following the drama, not trying to judge what is or not faithful to original novel, which I am not really interested in reading.
Besides, did you read it in the Klingon translation? Mis-translations exist.

I wonder what exactly is LYY's brother's age? LYY said he was 6 years younger so he is supposedly YG's age. But…
Looks like that to me.
LYY was 27 in Finland so brother minus 6 years equals 21 years old. His wife may have been older, 22 marriageable age, and have a kid on the way, so they got dispensation to marry unofficially first with family, and register next at public affairs office when he was old enough to do so or age requirement was waived ? Not impossible.

For the past few years, China encourages child bearing instead of discouraging it. They tried raising the bar from one to two child policy, almost immediately followed by 3 children policy, but it did not help the sinking birth rates and growing imbalance with ageing population. So, one child policy is a sin of the past, that lasted too long, and for a while now, it's "as many kids as you like". But. Young generations find kids expensive to rear, noisy, smelly, and a hassle boatload of problems to take care of. Many simply prefer not to have any kids.
Thus, it is not a problem anymore if women want to have kids on their own and raise them independently. Example, singer Zhang Bichen who did not want to involve the father of her daughter, "Martian" Hua Chenyu, informing him after the fact and daughter was already a couple of years old! He decided to contribute and see the daughter but they did not decide to marry... Modern couples, new mores.
The marriage age limits stand though, but might be lowered in the future to encourage young PRC people to marry and procreate.

DLee1209 is right. It is LYY who struck XD with a brick.

LinLin has been mentioned to have a scar from having protected Xiaodong from thugs, but not as an aggressor of Xiaodong, whom she was in an on and off relationship, hidden, for years.
We should put this under spoiler tags because newcomers may not want to know all these details yet, don't you think ?

China will air it after 22mins..you can see the countdown ⏫...akkkk cant wait..🍬
I felt like that when I watched Wu Lei's previous costume drama, Love Like The Galaxy, although he himself prefers the previous one again, The Long Ballad. In terms of modern dramas, I think his previous one Nothing But You was quite sweet, but this one is even better, yes, in terms of story flow.

the soundtrack is good but i hate the scores that playing during the scenes. it made the show look like a cheap…
It goes with the territory, c-dramas always lace the show with more or less loud and obtrusive bgm, with lyrics showing on the side, but subtitled translations not always managing to keep lyrics and dialogues separate, which is the most annoying on some platforms, in addition to machine translation that end up looking almost like transliteration from Klingon or other weird non existent in reality artificial lingo.
Just overlook it or rather, turn a deaf ear to it, mute the episode if that bothers you too much ?

damn not him giving all his prize money to her 😭 fictional drama indeed
not very consistent with his poor boy rising out to make gold, though.
A box of chocolates would have been more appropriate in the circumstance.
That moment made me disconnect briefly.
of course, she could become his manager of finance savings, but as he pointed out she should have saved on long term higher yield investments instead of putting her money on almost no yield accounts.

where can i watch that pleaseeee lol
The first one is too blurry and short?
The second one is amazing : 20 seconds long kiss, oooh. How could she say she felt they had grown away from closeness, in the room, then? And it was when or before Xiaodong came to drive her home after the visit and birthday gift exchange, a little too long for having elder cousin watch that. I suppose that's why it was cut for consistency, to audience who are fond of tons of kisses deep regret. :)

Let's just use LYY if it's too complicated to remember all those Chinese names ?

Ikr, I feel bad for YG she seems like she never had a chance to speaks her mind.
......over two years !!!!! (I mean, time flew before LYY could return to China after having settled his business in China and started earning as much as he could through tournaments. In between their meeting in the hotel when YG was worried that they had grown out of closeness, and their next encounter for Qingming family duties at cemetary, it is mentioned that they had not seen each other for one and a half year. 18 months without seeing someone is a very very difficult "long distance relationship".

Ikr, I feel bad for YG she seems like she never had a chance to speaks her mind.
even the grandma may be influenced by the holier than thou, bitter, frustrated, cow of a sister that poor YG has to deal with. And the rigid mom. We can easily understand why her cousin who does not hate LYY despite of what happened advised her to secrecy for so long .......

Lol the car scene.Yin Gou: talking about the mist covering the windows and how it reminds her of titanic car scene.…
Oh no!!! not Yin GOU (gou could mean "dog" and it's both not her name and not nice to read). Her name is Yin Guo. (殷果 as in dark-red fruit, that's why he wanted to bring her cherries in last episode, 18)...
Use plain YG if it's too much trouble to remember ?
Yes it's a sweet story, and we are always thrilled to see how they look at each other as if they wanted to devour him/her naughtily, hahaha!

😄 what do u think of the fact that the Finns spoke English in the drama...😬😬
Such a strange question!
Of course Scandinavians do NOT use English as " the automatic tongue that they will speak daily."
It is just an important tool for international communication. That's all.
They are not vassals of the Anglosphere to live and dream of US or UK culture and English language!! In international conferences, at the UN, or European business, they will often demand interpreters even when they could communicate in English directly. Because they are proud of their own culture, their own language, and use English as a convenient key to do business or other international relations with outside world.

As for Emma personally, she may use English to write here, but her answers make it clear that she is a true blue Finn identifying with the people of her country, and even correcting the commonly used words for their local specialty pie to get us to know its name in Finnish which she likely uses much more than English, and of course, as a rule in her own birth family and among school peers. English is not used as a native language in schools and even universities, despite colleges may (like in other countries too) have specialty lecturers who use English to teach some classes or parts.

Just for your info, here's an excerpt from the European Union guidelines to language and translations or interpreting :

"The European Union has 24 official languages: Bulgarian, Czech, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Irish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovene, Spanish and Swedish.
Under the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, citizens have the right to communicate with European Union institutions in any of these official languages. In addition, under the European Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, Members have the right to speak in Parliament in the official language of their choice, with these speeches simultaneously interpreted into the other official languages.
Using 24 languages creates 552 possible language combinations. To cope with these, the European Parliament uses a system of ‘relay’ languages: a speaker or a text is first interpreted or translated into one of the most widely used languages (English, French or German), and then into other languages. As a rule, each interpreter and translator works into his/her mother tongue."

You mean Berry? I know she was in another modern series as well. I just don't remember which series anymore.
I assume they could find her by asking Wu Lei Studio.
Although some people may participate in projects despite not wanting to turn professional or be too well known.
Word of mouth anyway could already be incredibly powerful in China, even before WeChat times.... Everyone is the "brother-sister" cousin of somebody who is etc.
Today, when someone wants to find somebody, it may be even simpler.
