you could just have googled up eccyesis (pronounced ex-eye-isis) from the subtitles : pregnancy resulting from gestation elsewhere than in the uterus. synonyms: ectopic gestation, ectopic pregnancy, extrauterine gestation, extrauterine pregnancy, metacyesis.. Extra uterine pregnancy, also called ectopic, is a possibly fatal condition. "Ectopic pregnancy is a known complication of pregnancy that can carry a high rate of morbidity and mortality when not recognized and treated promptly. Ectopic pregnancies may present with pain, vaginal bleeding, or more vague complaints such as nausea and vomiting."

Yes, that was interesting! Breaking from Taiwanese mandarin to what I assumed was Thai (since the mother of the twins was supposed to be Thai) added to the strangeness of the scene. Yang Yu adult was played by Chanon Santinatornkul (nickname Nonkul or Non), so it was naturally inserted.

There could well be an S2 even after this satisfying ending, both dramatic and filled with wry humor: how 1 per made Yiyong into 10 per 😁 Urging him to get back the missing mug in order that Yiyong get properly scolded as a reward?! lol
On another level, I think I will be even more wary after this of over-sugary diabetes-inducing cupcakes, with poisonous colors.... There are both deep thoughts and goofy superficial ones here so this drama is very enjoyable for ghost(buster) story fans, daft friendship addicts, and more.

Ah yes, many songs and music and even parts of dialogue are sometimes annoyingly cut in the YT uploads.... I check the YT version once in a while for some dramas, mostly to read how audience receive them there, but I did not do it for this one (yet. Maybe I'll do so on re-watch? AI subtitling is really substandard, so I probably would prefer rewatch on Viki if a subtitling team takes the drama there).

Btw. To check a complete episode, perhaps you could try the first episodes on original platform? This one is WeTV. You don't need a subscription to watch for free the first 10 episodes, at the moment.

(I have splurged to subscribe as ViP on the three main d-drama platforms: WeTV, iQiyi, and Youku, plus Viki so I can watch everywhere on computer, tablet, or smartphone, but I am not subscribing to much else in the way of entertainment so to me, it is affordable, although I watched for two years without subs only what was free, until I decided to take next step ;-)

The uploads to the Dramacool or KissAsian unofficial sites also feature complete episodes, but the quality is not good, max 720p. The subtitling also can be ... haphazard there. But is you can watch in RAW, it's sometimes an alternative to keep up to date with newest dramas or go gold-digging for very old ones, even Asian movies, other ones too, but I don't try, because I also have Amazon Prime, Netflix... enough for me. (If ever I really want to check out a movie, like Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Wandering Earth + The Wandering Earth2, Hidden Blade, or now The Three Musketeers d'Artagnan, and The Guardians of the Galaxy 3, then I usually go to the cinema or find them on download platforms.)

Just checked that The Road to Ordinary C-drama is up on cool and kiss sites till ep 25 with English subs. Haven't checked every episode, since I am currently following 6 dramas simultaneously plus checking MDL and YT for comments or other things such as the Zhang Zhehan concert he did on his birthday in Bangkok, on May 11, his 32nd birthday.

I like the songs of ZZH following his recent music although not as an old diehard fan. I used to favor enduring older mando/cantopop idols, like Deng Lijun/Teresa Teng, Anita Mui, A-Mei, Sally Yeh, Guangliang, Jerry Yan, Jay Chou, JJ Lin (who has an exciting ongoing World Tour), Jackie Chan/Cheng Long, Rene Liu, Angela Chang/Zhang ShaoHan ... Including today also newer rock, rap, dance or Cpop songs by Faye Wong, Nicholas Tse, G.E.M., Z.Tao (saluting hailangs), Allen Ren Jialun, Timmy Xu Weizhou and some other actor-singer idols like Vin Zhang Binbin- and, of course Luo Yunxi, Mao Buyi, Liu Yuning, Chen Xueran, ... and Zhou Shen). I had fallen in love with the Pu Shu song from the Our Band performance in《我们的乐队》Me To Us music competition/ reality show of 2020 where Nicholas Tse, Karry Wang and Jam Hsiao sat as judges/mentors. Long live "impossibly long" xianxia drama watching!

(musing: is this one compatible with multiple genre drama watching? It was difficult to do so with TTEOTM so I chose delayed binge watching over a week then, catching up through MDL comments about the change in episodes airing and numbering...
Currently finishing "Oh No! Here Comes Trouble" (ghost stories, nice one) ; continuing "The Road to Ordinary" (workplace, legal drama: like it too) ; and "The Long Season" (was fascinated from start by this crime/slice of life story). Started also on "The Ingenious One" but despite Chen Xiao's long eyelashes and Ming dynasty costume, the first episodes did not grab me that much, so it's on hold for me until later, perhaps.
There's so much to watch, like an avalanche : lol)

I started wondering how much Ordinary we could get, btw. But when I typed Ordinary in the MDL search engine, what popped up first was..... The Mask??!! (other title "Ordinary") and none of our other remembered ordinary fare.
