Looks like they quite literally just decided to make a whole show revolving around the pervy vips from squid game. Looks like it's gonna be crap that people will simply watch for the nc scenes. No is definitely right.
His acting style reminds me of Chinese dramas. I agree. I do not find the acting to be super good as of now and…
It doesn't have an air date yet. So sad. They finished filming two/three weeks ago though, so it's bound to start releasing episodes sometime, just not sure when.
It's supposed to be quite toxic I've heard, but the acting is very drawing and impressive from the teaser alone. I can immediately tell the lead guy knows what he's doing. There's the mdl page listing if you're interested - https://mydramalist.com/810938-fool-in-love
Mr.fanboy is based off a novel? I didn't know that xd and yeah bashing someone for having acting critiques or technical qualms with a drama is so immature of commenters. Everyone is allowed to hold an opinion and voice it so other people can weigh whether or not they want to try and watch something before wasting their time.

Sure thing. That's completely understandable. Episode 2 was very painful to watch. I feel it's going to stay within the same path it's taken with the tone being over-the-top try-hard to be funny with Wans behavior, but it comes off as too cringey. I do agree James was doing a better job than most of the cast. I'll continue because I don't have much else to watch as of right now because Fool In Love is apparently taking forever to air and that's what I actually want to watch xd maybe that one would interest you instead as well? I believe the main actor has been in numerous lakorns, so he's actually pretty skilled acting-wise.
I am in Ep 02, Comments say this is toxic and first episodes say otherwise 🙃From when and how toxic is this…
The book is heavily toxic. Series? Not so much in my opinion. Could've used a dash more of toxic. They played it safe. However I don't think this is as bad or unwatchable as people are making it out to be. You'll just have to decide for yourself xd
Hm. First two episodes all I can come up with is meh. I'll try a couple more and see if it pulls me in a bit more but it may just not be my kind of style of show.
Blocking Bunot because why they gotta argue with everyone all the time for 1 ðŸ˜, and 2, what in the world is that pfp..? I understand there being nc scenes in some dramas. But it won't be everywhere or in everything that you're commenting on and such a photo is wildly inappropriate....
Anyway, I hope this is not as bad as people are making it out to be. I haven't been able to make it to the first.. two was it? Yet.
The AI use is the worst I’ve come across yet in a drama, and it makes me deeply angry as a musician and creative…
It stinks because all of the new shows are using it like it's going out of style. Musicians, artists of all sorts and graphic designers out there are losing their jobs to AI. It definitely is way more serious than people are making it out to be. Imagine being a very talented music maker, it being your specialty and the only thing you're passionate about, and a machine that spits out whatever it feels like taking that away from you. Heck I've even seen the headlines of small drama actors losing their jobs to AI. It's awful.
Not trying to be nitpicky. But why does every scene feel AI enhanced or is that just me? It doesn't look like real people, it looks like those short AI clips taking over yt. There's something very off here.
I wonder if the half brother's story is going to be removed. As the subtitles said "this is Yok my classmate".…
I am only aware of the one you know what scene regarding the brother. Was Ings brother and Yok not classmates in the book then and had a different relation?
That was a painful episode to watch. I felt embarrassed for Wan the entire time. I also laughed at the poor acting coach when he sighed "get some sleep wan 😑" xd
One episode left and this is a hard one. On one hand I have really enjoyed it in spots. On the other hand there's some major issues. If I had to rate the overall series I have no idea what I'd do. It doesn't deserve 8.5, but it doesn't deserve just an 8.0 either. I think this is a so frustrating watch but I can't stop because it is like crack and dare I say enjoyable. DBTE is a weird phenomenon for me. I do love how it's fast paced and doesn't stay on certain things for too long. But I can deduct a lot has been cut down from the original source material that we are missing the dark black flag storyline it could've been.

Come out soon ã… ã… I can't wait much longer. I might die.

Nvm. Problem solved in the comments below xd
