Which one should i watch first this or ruyis royal love?? Also i heard that the 2 are the same story with the same emperor but from the point of view of 2 different consorts, so who and who r the consorts?? Are they the ones that were briefly mentioned in the end of empresses in the palace??

This was the exact ep that made me realize the reason for the sudden departure of that one doctor she hired from outside the palace was because he was scared of his discovery of the musk after getting threatened by the emperors doctors!! At the end even tho concubine huan was a loyal wife to him he still decided to punish her in the worst way possible (by not allowing her to have her own children)

That conversation was actually very important I think it shade light on the true character of so many ppl in the harem. It also made me feel bad for concubine hua as she has also suffered alot at the palace to the point where she turned into this horrible person( I dont think she even wanted to kill the baby). Also the episodes after 30+ are my favs as huanhuan finally started to fight back!

He doesn't like taking responsibility for his actions or admitting he was wrong for giving that much power to misses bully. If he couldn't administer a proper punishment he should've atleast tried to apologize or reason with her but yuh he's a self righteous freak😕

Hmm I actually think he has always known what kind of person she is and how she treat the other concubines in the harem but he couldn't be bothered about it because her and her family were useful assets to him(that's also the reason it's hard for him to punish her properly). Also the ep where huanhuan lost her baby was one of the saddest for me, it broke my heart to see her suffering like that and still not getting the proper justice she really wanted:/

It was almost like the emperor was scared of the general💀💀 even when he was openly disrespecting him and causing trouble not to mention his sister was causing havoc in the harem he would just look the other way but god forbid the other generals or concubines make even the smallest mistake... Even tho I have never seen ruyis royal love before I have read so many reviews saying this is the better one, thats why i decided to start this first!! i found the emperor and some of his decisions to be annoying and selfish sometimes but I wouldn't call him dumb🤔. he will also start to toughen up after a while

Yuh thats the main reason i was disappointed!! they could've been a strong powerful trio but an lingrong let her insecurity and her familys inferiority in rank get in her way of thinking. But still the friendship between zhen huan and concubine mei was one of the best ive ever seen in historical dramas😭💗💗

yuh personally for me she was the worst one since zhen huan has helped her and her family so many times but she still betrayed her in the worst way possible 😭😭
