Imo, Wild Bloom is one of her best works. Very different Zhao Liying but such a compelling character that she played in there. You can see that she takes her acting career seriously.

You gotta keep watching till the end coz Wang Yibo gave his very best performance for this drama 😂 To me, after Ep 30 the intensity really went up for everyone & every situation. All actors played their roles so well but WYB & WY’s interaction & chemistry made the last few eps so satisfying. Don’t give up!

I was generalizing when I commented but I wouldn’t say it’s just dumb Americans buying their propaganda. I know of very smart Americans who believed in those propaganda. Also I was just giving an example with Americans coz I didn’t feel the need to go into a long discourse 😂 but like what you said, propaganda is everywhere. The original intent here was to point out to ppl who think that only China churns out propaganda.

If by WY you meant Wang Yang then you need to keep watching coz WY’s acting is simply amazing after Ep 30.

Well said! Finally someone gets it. Ppl saying Chinese propaganda this and that but do they realize that the US churns out just as much propaganda if not more? But no one says anything abt American propaganda. This is a Chinese drama about their own history. History is told by the winners. What else do you expect? I don’t like Communism but I realized that for a country as huge and diverse as China, Communism probably is the best system to govern the country.
