Parents’ stuff is always an intricate matter that requires being dealt with extra care. Although I am only half Asian, I would say that Hu Xiu is an inspirational, brave young Asian woman who dares to confront her parents in a delicate way to make them understand how much she loves Xiao Zhi Yu and wants to be with him, in ep 26. It’s healing 🙂

I think she’s not unbearable, her reaction was understandable. If we try to put ourselves in her shoes, she’s being lied to and dumped by her fiancé by text message, then finally could try to love again, but this man is once again not entirely honest with her and puts her in a hard position that made it tricky for her to act between being filial to her parents and loving her man blindly. In this case, if she needed her own space sometimes to think properly is reasonable. It was barely a break-up anyway, as only perhaps last for one episode.

Tbh, the drama is much better than the Novel.

Many said; It’s much more than kissing. There isn't a single boring scene; beautiful cinematography, a very good script, smart humour, natural chemistry, and no cringeworthy moments. Even a supporting role like Gong Huai Cong could make me giggle like an idiot 😆

Hmm, bad rumours about LYX always started to appear when a great thing about her was officially published, like the amazing Dancing with the Tide wrap-up before and her first big-screen movie debut now, which starts this July. The timing, it has become an obvious pattern as her career continues to rise! Envy is simply human nature. People worldwide who knew her would always support her; they feel that it's unfair when they see haters trying hard to bring her down. Look at her MDL stats now!

As much as I like Li Yitong's acting, I just couldn't carry on; there was not enough excitement to keep me watching. Not sure why, perhaps my expectation from this manga adaptation was too high, and the dubbing voice did affect me a bit.

Blimey, I’ve found that LYX’s English-speaking voice was originally soothing, yet so sexy before! She must have toned down her British accent a lot in Love between the Lines. She needs to tone it up again now, while in the UK! ☺️ Looking forward to more of your UK holiday materials!

From where did you read these complaints? These people (online directors??) really never stop criticising. LYX must use her own voice, please, please. It’s more expressive and has emotional intelligence. Nan Yi was an illiterate beggar to begin with, anyway, not some noble character who needed a special way or manner to speak! So, her raw voice and emotion are just perfect! For whoever doesn't like her? Don't watch the drama then! It’s really done my head in!

POJ may have better cinematography, perhaps due to a bigger budget, but it has a mediocre plot and, yes, a frustrating second half. LITC has way better character visuals and chemistry, and a more interesting plot through to the end. The story of Ming Yi and Ji Bozai is the best current Xianxia that you can't miss!

My pleasure, we are perhaps among the few who could enjoy heavy Angst dramas. Next, the upcoming Drama originally was ‘He Bu Tong Zhou Du, Why Not Cross By Boat’, same director: Vincent Yang. Looking forward to this upcoming Angst!☺️
