Blossoms in Adversity is a very underrated c-drama which actually has amazing mature female characters, with Lu Yu Xiao as a supporting role as a bonus, if you like her in LBL 😊

Sadly, my heart is stii on LITC even after POJ. Nothing can replace the visuals of MY and JBZ yet in my mind.

I didn't think it ruined anything; more interesting twists, and finally, perfect closure for everything at the end. LITC’s plot and characters are rather complex, and tbh, 23 is one of the best episodes in this drama. In that ep 19 and ep 23, acting were insane btw

Tushan Jing…If more people like you have terrible reasoning and a lack of understanding of the context of a conversation (e.g., Wang Xing Yue's comment), then twist the facts, it’ll be more proof that all the bad things said about LYX out there are just ridiculous. Since when is a person like LYX, who is gifted with eidetic/photographic memory, can understand character, memorise her script faster, and act better than most actors who are professionally trained or in drama school, to be judged for not taking her job seriously and/or professionally? I am speechless 🤦🏻‍♀️

Maybe others have seen him somewhere else, hence the difference of opinions. This is the first time, I’ve seen him. Based on this drama alone, he’s not bad, but his acting is indeed mediocre. On the contrary, I first found actresses who have brilliant acting like Zhang Jing Yi and Lu Yuxiao. This drama is a hidden gem where actors could shine brighter than or be overshadowed by others

Other cast members have stellar acting in this drama, making his weak acting more visible amongst these best ladies! Despite his non-expressive, mediocre acting, at least the punches were powerful in the fighting scenes!

She is naturally beautiful even without make up and her gorgeous smile is contagious! She’s lovely wherever she goes, very lively and chatty even to a passerby in NYC in that video. Absolutely love her!

Maybe you can try another Lu Yuxiao drama Time and Him are just Right. Adorably cute drama!

I’ve seen a video also, you know, in England, sometimes some places like malls or airports just displayed a piano for everybody to play, LYX just sat there and played that piano once in a public place. Love this girl! I think most of us have become obsessed with her this year, including me!

I’ve spotted in one of Lu Yuxiao's youth photos that she’s actually here in the UK for her secondary education, not only for university. She seemed to have studied at Bootham School, York, which is perhaps one of the top schools in the north of the UK. Gosh, she’s not only talented but also has a smart bone as well. I love an actress with a bigger brain even more! I am rooting for her success, as tho she’s quite new, she is a truly unique, hard-working C-actress! Absolutely adore her unspoiled beauty, her cuteness, her quirk, and of course her acting! I have almost finished watching all of her best dramas, and soon will have nothing to watch, waiting for her upcoming ones to air!

If you don't like fantasy costume drama, then you may not enjoy it. It’s actually one of the best fantasy costume dramas if you carry on a bit further. Story and characters are interestingly complex, especially Ming Yi, but all portrayed naturally well.
