This is why I admire Lu Yuxiao as a person. She can spread positive energy to others, including me. I am a widower. My late wife was a very down-to-earth actress and my best friend; she’s my first love and the last, I have loved her for almost half of my life; and my life has gone monochrome after she died. I never believed that there would be a truly thoughtful actress with a personality as gentle, carefree and with a beautiful smile as hers, until I saw Lu Yuxiao. LYX’s authenticity and perseverance in life are healing, I see more colours in life and start to live my life again. The people here sometimes have too much spare time to spend to research for an actress/actors from many resources, but not many people do. I know what I like and don't. Nothing can change it, as I said, MDL is good information for me to filter my watch list. The median rating here is good enough to show me that. I used to support different actresses, such as Li Yitong, and I said to you frankly in my comment, yes, I like supporting and watching LYX now. No matter what others say, it won't matter to me 🙂
I just read somewhere that both LYX and LXQ were actually selected for the CCTV Starry Oceans Young Actor Program in 2022 and 2021, respectively. So, this ML is definitely a great young actor. I am Chinese/British/Aussie, and I could understand where this bloke from England comment is coming from; I also do not really understand how people in China are taking things too seriously about this C-ent. A member here merely expressed what drama he likes/dislikes more on LYX’s page, if you read his previous comment above. It’s just somebody commented after him, started bringing up HMH. Anyway, statistics are a set of data that can be interpreted to yield certain information, and can come from anywhere (either a sample or a population); even small data in MDL can still be a statistic that can give you information. This bloke has already mentioned to you that he’s saying based on MDL stats, and it’s not entirely false. I could also see that the highest-rated dramas of CXX and HMH are LBL and LITC here, respectively, and LITC is Youku's annual best seller so far. And btw, LYX is the second male lead in MJTY. Nobody is saying that HMH or CXX are bad here. I could see that he and I are just admirers of LYX in the UK, mate.

Thank you, that's a nice way to put it. Perhaps it is not easy for people who were not brought up in Asian families to understand the high value of filial piety. Parents’ stuff is always an intricate matter that requires being dealt with extra care. Although I am only half Asian, I would say that Hu Xiu is an inspirational, brave young Asian woman who dares to confront her parents in a delicate way to make them understand how much she loves Xiao Zhi Yu and wants to be with him, in ep 26. I think she’s not unbearable, her reaction was understandable. If we try to put ourselves in her shoes, she’s being lied to and dumped by her fiancé by text message, then finally could try to love again, but this man is once again not entirely honest with her and puts her in a hard position that made it tricky for her to act between being filial to her parents and loving her man blindly. In this case, if she needed her own space sometimes to think properly is reasonable. It was barely a break-up anyway, as only perhaps last for one episode.
I swear these high ratings are because of the frequent kissing scenes. Otherwise the story is quite mediocre.

Hmm, bad rumours about LYX always started to appear when a great thing about her was officially published, like the amazing Dancing with the Tide wrap-up before and her first big-screen movie debut now, which starts this July. The timing, it has become an obvious pattern as her career continues to rise! Envy is simply human nature.
